So why did Jordan decide the guy who sexually assaulted him in a bowling alley bathroom would make a good wingman for his fraudulent double not-a-date scheme? Is he hoping Paulo will give him pointers on how to successfully intimidate the poor girl?>Paulo, how do I win over Tiff when she keeps saying she doesn't want to date me and telling me to stop asking?>You should get her alone and keep her phone away when you ask. That way she'll realize that she can't say no, because of The Implication.>That sounds kind of dark. What "implication"?>No no no, it's not dark at all. Remember when we were in the bathroom together? You may have WANTED to say no, but we were alone, so in the back of your mind there was The Implication.>...The Implication that you weren't going to stop?>Right! Obviously once you said no, nothing happened, just like nothing's going to happen to Tiff if she says no. But she doesn't know that!
>>152107759Jordan was too stupid to recognize he was being sexually harassed and the comic does not acknowledge what Paulo pulled because he's a designated golden boy.
GIVE ME YOUR FACE
>>152107473You misunderstand bay decepticons. They're not other soldiers fighting for their own cause. They're all literal demons that want nothing more to flay the skin off every individual person because they can. The fallen was going to delete the sun over every other star in space for no other reason than spite and you're surprised that Optimus lost all patience for them and replaced it with raw hatred?
>>152107718I guess I'd also be surprised if, during the second coming, Jesus tore Satan's scrotum off and used it as a hackysack. Like, it's a bit extra, isn't it? Especially from our compassionate paragon of virtue, forced to take to the sword to save all mankind. Just wouldn't see him as the type, makes me look at him different and not in a good way.I get y'all are saying it's part of a greater arc. But as someone who stopped watching at that movie, it was too much too soon.
>>152107616To be fair, I can see Obama hating Optimus.
>>152107718Yet despite all that, apparently humans are ok with imprisoning Decepticons in TLK. Lol, in Bayformers humans show more mercy to Cons than the Autobots do.
>>152107853I think it's mainly because the humans stand to gain something from that rather than any sort of altruism - in the first film basically every advancement of the modern age is owed to reverse engineering shit from Megatron. Those imprisoned 'cons would've been cut up and dissected for more tech.
>didn't return for the revivalI'm still mad.
>>152095904>>152097570>Makes Tobias who is instantly more of a bro and a better friend to Darwin than Gumball is>oh shit we can't have that! delete his screentime>Makes Rachel who has immediate chemistry and charisma>oh shit we can't have that, we need people to focus entirely on the Wattersons and Penny! retcon her!The crew's hatred towards the Wilsons needs to be studied.
>>152098269If only she had return, I think should be a great member part of nude club. It will give her some true motive when you rewrite her.
>>152103532Gross.
>>152099630God I love expression.
>>152104245>Makes Tobias who is instantly more of a bro and a better friend to Darwin than Gumball isLooking back through the lens of Murder Drones where a token jock character is depicted as sociable and outgoing, it's fucking wild how Ben quickly fell back to industry standard of writing such characters as self-serving and deeply insecure retards.
>DVD commentary for Lisa The Greek>Mike Reiss: There was one time when we were going to have Homer strangle Lisa but we just couldn't do it. She's too sweet.
>>152098328She WAS too sweet, this was before the vegetarian shit
>>152100845Come back to me when you can actually generate AI in the show's art style not this stupid 3D crap pajeet
>>152101056I think they kept a good balance between her being a goody two shoes genius and sometimes going along with Bart's pranks. If she was just a girl Bart the family would be way more boring. It's only in the latter part of the classic era when they really lean into her preachiness
>>152105105What people miss is that lisa is as flawed as her family. She isnt classicaly dumb like bart and homer but she's just as grating and obnoxious as they are. We love bart and homer despite their problems. We can love lisa too.The cintention reslly is if the writers seem to be telling us in the audience>lisa is right and everyone else is wrong
>>152098753Oh anon. You're so funny.

It would have never been greenlit.

It's honestly kinda baffling how people view this as a high water mark of excellence, when in reality it's extremely stereotypically 80's.>not a single good face or drawing>conforms to janky on-model nonsense that's loved by executives>the average episode plot: saturday morning drivel. because, surprise surprise, it's a "writer driven" show>but wait, it does have good animation... for 2-3 minutes of the whole show in 1 or 2 episodes (huge 80s-ism)>it wasn't created to sell toys though!!!!!!!
>>152105413Because it it, it's one of the TMS masterpieces made during their height (1983-2000).
>>152089081>a high water mark of excellence,Because tv cartoons in the 80s really didn't look all that great for most of the decade. It really was one of the first things that looked pretty good. Around the end of the decade it could be compared to Thundercats etc. But before that there was not a lot of good competition. Even the 80s toy commercials did not look too amazing until 86 or so. But overall it was a decently well made show by people that actually seemed to give a shit about making a decent show. And it was in syndication at the start, not some leftover saturday morning cartoon that was moved to afternoons.
>>152089081Did you know that Huey, Dewey and Louie's names were changed in Russian by Billy, Dilly and Willy? It was made due to Huey's name sounding like a dick (huy) word in Russian, which is obscene word in Russia.
>>152089081>not a single good face or drawingIt's a show about cartoon animals.Good faces will be subjective at best.
>>152107723It had plenty of excellent faces and drawings, this is TMS we're talking about.
I'm enjoying Fraction's run so far, more than I have recently. Zdarsky was pretty much forgettable and at the mercy of Absolute Power because of Failsafe, King was terrible (nothing new there). I thought Tynion was fine but it was very clear that he was making characters because editorial kept shooting down his scripts, which I think he even mentioned in an interview once. Going further back to Scott Snyder, I feel like Court of Owls was the only thing he had going for him. Death of The Family was kinda dumb, and no one cared for Signal nor Bat-Gordon. Although he seems to have done a lot better with Absolute Batman lately. What do you think of Dr. Zeller, The Minotaur, and The Ojo? Do you think we'll finally get a normal Joker story for a change that isn't world /city ending and just fun? I'd like to see more of Punchline at least. Or just talk about Batman villains, and how you want their status quo to be
>>152106737What do you mean exactly?>>152106871I thought it was a bit weird considering they had to de-age Gordon by like 20 years. Probably would have hit better as a what-if alt world story, but that's just me.>>152106878I hope they stick with the friends as his "Bat-Family". Waylon is kinda rough, but he appears capable of reason. Hard to say about Oswald, but Dent and Nygma appear to be stable and supportive at least. Would like to know more about Selina and her deal, but that's likely coming in her upcoming book
>>152106977It's my first live run of a Batman series so I'm excited. Being able to go to my LCS and see the buzz for it has felt amazing. The Bat-Family stuff would be a good comparison. Dick seems to hate him and he's already getting support from Harley (although I wouldn't be surprised if JK manages to win her over for a bit). I'm curious about if people would be annoyed by Dent and everyone not going full villain but so far, everybody loves Croc being a Bat Friend
>>152106977>I thought it was a bit weird considering they had to de-age Gordon by like 20 years.Eh, I get it, I did wish they made him look older, specially to make the mecha more important to his crime fighting, but I liked what we got, felt very fresh at the time.
>>152107116I want to know more about Absolute Harley. I'm thinking she was one of Jack's arm candy girlfriends and lost her baby she had with him. There might be implied sexual assault with her too given the shaved head, as women who are victims of such things can make themselves look more boyish as a way to subconsciously deter future attacks from men. Hard to say, especially with her age. We don't know enough.
>>152106697I haven't been able to enjoy any of these. It's been terrible since Snyder.
>best girl in the show>underused>barley any fanart>even less sexy fanartIt's a damn shame.
Waku waku!Should I start?
>>152107035Watch the show? Eh, give it a shot. It's got some problems, and some divisive elements, but you might enjoy it. Just don't go in expecting a lot of the ice loli. As I said, she's criminally underused.
>>152107035>barley any fanartCome on, Op. You can have all you want. You have the power right in front of you. Just make the deal.
>>152107097She's not one of the better characters anyway. Entrapta is much more fun.
>>152107583We're way overdue for a dedicated Entrapta thread. I recently finished a not very good drawing involving her.

Do you think Cartoon Network will ever get a new logo in the future? Were going 16 years since the modern CN logo has been in place and it doesnt look like they have any plans on chaning any time soon
>>152107794Its crazy how the 2004 logo is easily the best for the network, hasnt been and probably will never be topped
>>152107794Seeing the 2004 logo reminded me of that episode of Chowder where Gazpacho acknowledges the logo at the bottom and touches it. Later airings would keep that logo in the episode while the new one was on top of it as part of the channels hub.
>>152107794Cartoon Network is dead, bro
>>152107812https://youtu.be/-AuorihmKsk
>>152107820True but at least some refresh wouldnt hurt after having a logo for almost two decades, its been the face of the brand for so long that a lot of people dont remember the 90s/mid 2000s design, only way I can see them changing it is if they have a fresh new batch of shows to accompany a refresh just like they did with the second logo which is unlikely
In wake of this week featuring Both G.I. Joe Dreadnok War finale and Transformers #28Let us have a thread and talk about what is coming next, since #30 will be the Autobot Civil War courtesy of >pic revealing her true colors and the fact that it will be the last comic drawn by Dan Mora before they announce a new artist at #31
>>152106022in G1 the autobots helped the police to arrest human criminals so Optimus being against humanity's law enforcers is definitely out of character
>>152104508Speaking of IDW1, they should bring back Alex Milne

the writing and humor felt like it was written for an extremely young audience but I like the art style
>>152104942This is just trashy
This felt like a show that was left to die. Feels like an attempt to "Go" the JLA, but didn't commit

>>152107089That's just boring.
I was going to make a thread about forgotten villains but this felt better. Sure there are plenty of villains with hair but there almost no heroes that are bald. Even when they are it's usually women.
>>152106705Not ugly either, just have empathy and morals. Sounds like all you've got is hair.
>>152106915Is it just me or is it the people most insecure about their hair that give others shit about it? What's the logic there? Shouldn't you be avoiding tempting fate? Building a world your future bald self will be welcome in? Or is it just kids who are too dumb and self-centered to imagine age and its consequences are coming for them as well?
Why are bald fucks so desperate to convince everyone that being bald is le heckin cool and attractive? It also comes off as fake and insecure too.
>>152107586Why do you care about what balds think
