Humanize the people who made the art that built the company. But it's Disney, they don't want to do that. They only really care about the Disney Parks and grinding out computer graphics patents to hoard for themselves or to license for big money

Modern day Christmas specials refuse to be for a lack of a better word, "wholesome". It's why people still watch all of the specials that are decades old.
This movie was a huge misstep for Pixar. Absolutely dreadful garbage.
