Like the 2000s and it's mix of nostalgia for 70's kung fu films also happening concurrently with the total invasion of anime forming into the culture that this place sprung from, mixing with edgy 90's/00's comic book art and still maintaining some comedy roots with cartoonish aesthetics mixed in as well as old-timey mixed media newspaper cut outs is a mega collection of aesthetics that form my tastes. Nicktoons later kinda toned it down but occasionally they had some night bumpers I think that revived that feeling briefly. Also the channel as a whole had a good variety. ATLA, Making Fiends, MLAATR, and sometimes just random international cartoons made it feel like CN2 where artists/channel producers were just experimenting and throwing shit that was cool against the wall to see what happens. What I'm saying is that it was soulful.
