Why are they the most popular Looney Tunes characters?
>Lola gets 2 decent modern models in games>She barely gets any new porndamn is is it really that hard to rip and animate models these days.also Does fornite do recolors? does a recolored Lola equal a Babs skin?
>>152180307Did portrayals after that keep crazy Lola or did they default back to making her a gurl power character?
>>152175068It go needs boba when you have buggs.
>>152177194>>152177168I am fascinated by urban art of loony toons. Why does it happen? Who started the trend? Was Warner Brothers aware?
>>152180474I think there was one direct-to-DVD Looney Tunes movie that brought along that characterization before Spacejam 2 and the Tiny Tunes sequel brought back Badass Lola
Guys, Am I too stupid? because I can't see a corkscrew and a bottle of wine in these characters.
>>152177219it's very forced, look at this
>>152175482Kind of cheating to have the furniture carrying half the "humanization".>>152177513Didn't even try
>>152177346He looks like a psychologist, corkscrews are for opening bottles so it makes sense.
>>152176259subtle>>152177513not subtle
>>152175482>>152177346His glasses are the gears, the brace the main component and his beard the screwAs for her, she has red hair like the top of the bottle, and if she stood up, her body and dress would evoke the silhouette of the bottle (why she wasn't drawn standing is beyond me)
Was it really that bad?
>>152179625Good shit anon.

How much do they get raped when they go to hell?
>>152179679Uhh I dunno about any of that or the other stuff, I just thought the idea of the paring would be so dysfunctional and nonsensical I thought it was funny

>>152180231I can't bother. I'm just going to appropriate this one. This is now a drone thread, a one drone per couple posts fee is required past this one, failing to cover your fee will send Cyn to your next sleep, have fun!
>>152180487>failing to cover your fee will send Cyn to your next sleepI love Cyn, that hardly seems like a downside

>>152181277Good stuff...
Why was it forgotten so quickly?
>>152180473Futurama as always just contemporary topics "played-for-laughs" as they say. Y2K bug, garbage in new york, robot gangsters, that kind of stuff. Very "New York Brain" writing typical of a lot of shows in that era.
>>152179596Because it doesnt do anything new or adapt itself to the platform its on now. The Fox and Comedy Central runs were made to air on TV while Hulurama is only on hulu. Why bother?
revival just seemed creator driven rather than fan driven. show already ended well once and decently twice, people weren't clamoring for another round
>>152179784
>>152180003>they've had a perfect finale already so why bother Yep, that's one major reason Futurama's continued production pisses me off more than other long-running cartoons. We've had SEVERAL perfectly satisfying finales already. The new episodes actually do more harm to the show's image than any good imo

Why was Uncle Grandpa so hated back then?

You think Inside Job wouldve been a bigger hit if it released just a few years later? like literally 80% of conspiracy theories have been proven true in the last 2 years and the general populace is much more schizo brained than it was in 2022
>>152181329I think the bigger problem was that the entourage wasnt that interesting yet they got allot of focus over Reagan, rand and Brett.Dolphin guy is just Bill DauteriveThe asian guy is just Quaqmire+ drugsand The black girl is basically just a mishmash of stereotypes that befit more a 1 off bstory antagonist rather than a maincasterAnd the funny thing is, these character did grow on me by the end, but it literally took me till the end to start caring about them...and most people who disliked these characters probably would of clicked by episode 3>Says allot that I can even be bothered to remember their names
>>152181224Asians really like loli Reagan. Can't imagine why.
>protagonist is a busty nerd>show is mid, gets cancelledWhat a waste.
>>152181364>for a 1 season show that got memory holed in less than a year it has a shitload of fanart wtfSuch is the power of a good waifu design.
>>152179573Definitely not. If Inside Job were released a few years later, it would've only gotten TEN episodes released, with the back half catching dust in animatic form while the crew is told Netflix will "gauge how well that first batch performs" before getting promptly laid off. We're fortunate the show was made at a time when Netflix still tried to PRETEND it cared about animation.

What version of Munks does /co/ like the best?I'm, of course, nostalgic for the 80s one, but I am very partial to Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks. It's a pretty good and funny show.
...Speedy...Lamborghini...
why hasn't there been a new reboot yet
>>152180912Because Alvinnn just ended in 2023.I think Bagdasarian Productions is still trying to sell the rights for the Chipmunks still.I haven't heard any updates on that though.Personally, I would love to be a showrunner for a Chipmunks reboot. I have a lot of ideas...

>>152177745They work best in the 80s during the reign of the Music Video and MTV popularity as youth culture. Cartoon characters that can be rock stars and make parodies of modern songs was perfect for the time. They really don't work in the modern era when mainstream music is basically dead. And there are almost no acts to parody.
Which do you prefer? Louise X Ruby or Louise X Logan?

Go-Bots doesn't get enough credit for being one of Hanna Barbera's best cartoons of the 80s. Once you get beyond the stigma that it's a "Transformers Ripoff" (which it was never intended to be, both shows were developed independently based on different pre-existing toylines) the animation is fluid, the art direction is fantastic, the writing is entertaining and exciting, and the voicework is superb.
>>152181132True, but I'm just judging him on entertainment value. And that abuse to his own side led to Webworld, so mission accomplished. Probably the best 80s cartoon villain moment of all time to me.
>>152181089Kind of makes you wonder if David Kaye based BW Megatron on Cy-Kill or if its a wonderful coincidence.
>>152164929Mystic Knights was good.
>>152181225Isn't the story that he and Chalk originally auditioned for the other's role they would wind up with?
>>152177909Transformers population was down to about 25 or so remaining survivors after millions of years of ongoing war. But the show displayed how the minute their power generation issues were over, they could always build new bots with no real trouble. Autobots just made some Dinobots one day. Megatron just outright decided to make Stunticons. Tripticon was made in an afternoon on a whim. So replenishing their numbers is not really a huge problem at all. Their only real issue was resource management.
