>everything after Endgame has fucking sucked except memberberry callback shit>Endgame itself wasn't so hot, eitherSo was Feige just being tard-wrangled for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the MCU? Why has there been such a staggering drop in quality since Infinity War? He was once regarded as one of the most brilliant men in Hollywood, what the fuck happened?

This show was nowhere near as bad as people mads it out to be. I was watching some episodes from the first two seasons and it's not really that bad. It can be quite creative and funny
>>152116857The flash animated seasons are where the show gets bad.
>>152116884Season 2 is flash animated and it surprisingly wasn't that bad. The animation I guess has gotten a bit worse, but there's some entertaining stories in thereI also haven't noticed any Whipcracks or hardly any Whipcracks so far

As soon as I heard that he was making a comic "universe" instead of just a comic, I knew it would be shit. Pretty much any time someone tries to create a big, sprawling series like this it ends up crashing horribly.Unless you're a prolific writer like Isaac Asimov cranking out something almost daily by yourself, you need it to gain enough popularity to get others to do the work for you. And for that to happen you need either a lot of popularity or a lot of money.
>>152117837It doesn't help that the books are really, really, really bad. They misprinted a double page spread to be on two pages, and he claimed it was his decision, to make it "cinematic."

uncanons, what was it like working in a 90s office?
>>152109576Wish granted.
Yeah, he is awful. He is a glowie and probably a war criminal. And what he has done to many characters and is currently doing to wonder woman is horrible. But i'm still curious, has this man been able to produce at least one (1[uno]) good comic? Some say The Visions is still passable because it came first before his formula got stale, others also praise his Mister Miracle, but i disagree hard on that one. What do you anons think is his best work?
>>152115504>turn EVERY single character he writes into a suicidal sobbing sad sack>>152115583>Everyone is sad and has PTSDMaybe it's a cry for help? Torturing Iraqi civilians for years on end must've really messed with his mental health. And he did it to keep us safe, support our troops!
Sure not everything he touches turns to total crap. There are worse writers working. But comics are an art-driven medium. His writing is hard-carried by the art. Tom King gets handed the cream-of-the-crop artists because of his mom's WB connections. So even when King's stuff itself isn't a total waste of time, it's tough to enjoy once you understand that he himself has nothing valuable to contribute. You can't unsee it.His partnered artists are genuinely talented. Tom King's own artistic contribution is the spiritual equivalent of punching in prompts to an AI. Punch in some stock genre tropes, then send it off to be lovingly illustrated by the industry's top artists.>>152115418It's more than a little hilarious that King acted like a hero for sending his Xitter NPCs after evil Comicsgater Jae Lee, when King has devoted his entire adult life to more actual racism than the collective "Comicsgate" movement could dream of.Yeah, King likes the fictional trope of tortured man absorbed by the angst of his totally justified crimes against a two-dimensional population of savages. But on his actual publicity tours, King loves talking about how much fun he had invading Iraq in real life. "Thank you for your service, Tom." "Greatest honor of my life." "You served your country, Tom." "I very much enjoyed the work."Genuinely, Tom King could be the biggest racist in comics right now. Boomers' explicitly racist Twitter posts are nothing compared to King's constant display of hecking wholesome glee at raping the world.
