I don't mind Wolverine being able to smell that a person is nearby, but he shouldn't be able to smell things like whether it's female or not, which makes no sense. He's supposed to be sniffing the air like an animal and getting the sort of info from scent that you'd reasonably expect, like being able to track, not a telepath getting extra info that wouldn't be there.

He doesn't experience recoil from his blasts, but whatever he hits experiences the force, and so if something is attached to his body and he hits it with a lot of force the two options are that something ripping away and being sent flying, or if it's too durable that something tearing through his body instead.
