Why have we never gotten a Morty and Beth episode?

Dynamics like Rick and Morty, Rick and Jerry, Rick and Summer, Rick and Beth, and Jerry and Beth pretty much write themselves. And, when you have a finite episode count, I guess it makes sense to opt for dynamics which are more entertaining than the relatively mundane relationship between Beth and Morty. Honestly, Beth doesn't really get a lot of different pairings in general compared to the other characters. It's either a grounded Jerry marriage plot, a daddy-daughter plot with Rick or, recently, whatever weird shit is happening with her and Space Beth. I think she got a couple of episodes with her and Summer? Until Space Beth happened she was clearly the character the writers had the most trouble figuring out what to do with.
