There are no consequences for the rest of the saga, which makes it dedicate itself entirely to the story, unlike books 3 and 4 being interrupted to bring Amelia. She's never safe, so you're constantly wondering when everything will go to hell, thus enjoying the calm moments. Fuck, even the world is consistent with the flecs focusing only on her, unlike book 4, having to force the bad guys to want to kill Ryan and Min too so they have stick to Kez instead of just abandoning her on the spot. Besides, even with God by her side, she's never safe, which justifies her more gray actions. Also, she and Jesse are the best duo on the show.
