I used to watch Muppet Classic Theater a lot when I was younger, but looking back on it now, why were almost all of the characters missing? Steve Whitmire, Frank Oz, Dave Goelz, and Jerry Nelson were all in the cast for this, but Sam, Animal, Bunsen, Beaker, Floyd, Bean, Lew Zealand, Beauregard, Pops, Statler, and Waldorf were all absent. It's bizarre, considering how the various stories involve several main characters that aren't or can't be covered by Kermit/Piggy/Fozzie/Gonzo, and even Fozzie is only in one of the stories.
