It's insane how a random Toy Story short from over a decade ago is a thousand times better than any movie Pixar has been putting out lately.

None of those movies are good. Has nothing to do with starring women and brown people. Incredibles 2 was a white cast and it sucked as well.

Their white lead movies have been shit too. Pixar has been dead since Lasseter left and had already been in serious decline years before that

>Dougray Scott was originally cast as Wolverine, but was forced to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with Mission: Impossible 2. Production was already underway when it happened, and Fox had to scramble to find a replacement. Hugh Jackman was cast three weeks into principal photography at the recommendation of Russell Crowe.

>Patrick Stewart was the first choice for Professor Xavier, but was reluctant because he didn’t want to spend the entire movie in a wheelchair. He only made up his mind when producers approached Terence Stamp for the role.

>Stamp, Christopher Lee and Jeremy Irons were considered for Magneto before Ian McKellen was cast, having previously worked with director Bryan Singer in Apt Pupil.

>Vince Vaughn and Thomas Jane turned down playing Cyclops. Jim Caviezel was originally cast, but was forced to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with Frequency. Eric Mabius and D.B. Sweeney tested before James Marsden was cast.

>Charlize Theron and Julianne Moore turned down playing Jean Grey. Maria Bello, Peta Wilson and Lucy Lawless tested before Famke Janssen was cast.

>Angela Basset turned down playing Storm. Jada Pinkett-Smith and Sanaa Lathan tested before Halle Berry was cast.

>Natalie Portman, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Rachel Leigh Cook turned down playing Rogue. Christina Ricci and Katherine Isabelle tested before Anna Paquin was cast.

>Jeri Ryan tested for Mystique.

>Michael Jackson wanted to play Professor Xavier (and even presented his video clip for “Ghosts” as proof he could play an old white man), Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey both wanted to play Storm, and Shaquille O’Neal wanted to play Bishop.

Between this, his Spider-Man story, and Bowie's Daredevil. It's really strange how many eccentric celebrities wanted to play superheroes in the 90s

>the main difference reverse personality Raps had was that she was actually honest
I hadn't seen it like that, but you got a point. I mean, it’s not like she “lies” out of malice, but clearly in her attempt to be nice and avoid hurting people she either overcompensates or omits the truth sometimes... until it backfires and she snaps, and she snaps a lot. Which adds another difference, Reverse!Raps is rude, more than Cass even, like she doesn't care, unlike normal Rapsy. You could even say her positivity is toxic.

This time will be 2015

Last time, live was chaotic for Darin. His adoptive father Fred had a stroke which, though he survived, left him confined to a wheelchair and with broken speech. The Fairgoods were also visited by Kerry, Fred's estranged daughter. If all that wasn't enough, Bio-Dad Frankie returned to Westview with his pal Lenny, hoping to capitalize on Lisa's Story to make a reality show about reuniting with his son. All efforts were rebuffed and with the help of his mother's friends, Frankie was forced to leave emptyhanded.

But all wasn't bad for Jessica was pregnant and eventually gave birth to her and Darin's child, a boy named Skyler. She also got back to working on her documentary about her father and learned, unsurprisingly, that John Darling was an arrogant jackass. But after meeting with her father's killer she got the idea to watch some old family videos and learned that he at least had a soft spot for her. Satisied, Jessica decided not to release her documentary and instead take up work as a wedding videographer.

Holly, missing her son, took up comic collecting in order to complete Cory's Starbuck Jones collection. While for Les, Lisa's Story had been optioned for a TV movie titled Lust for Lisa and he was given the opportunity to write the first draft of the script and flown out to Hollywood. However all the changes to the story took a toll on him and enacting his kill fee he managed to shut the whole thing down. On the plus side, he struck up a friendship with actor Mason Jarr who was now free to take up the lead role in the Starbuck Jones film so Les invited him to come to Westview to look up the Winkerbeans' collection so he could study for the role. But things continued their downward trajectory for Cindy who was aged out of working for ABC and instead sent to a Cleveland affiliate thus ending her career as a national newscaster.

And he will get no shit at all for it because Dinkle continues to be the best character.

Batiuk repeated a joke here with the whole 'taping years of television to watch during retirement' thing. And the og Dinkle strip where he didn't know what All in the Family was is way funnier than Bull just binge watching Law and Order.

I blame you for the state of the board. Not the industry, which is partly at fault, but You directly.
You should have shown your face to the enemy instead of hiding in here. Now they've slowly started seeping in through the windows, through the walls. Eventually this will no longer be a sanctuary. Where will you go?
I did everything I could, but I'm only one man. All we needed was 20 good men, a diamond dozen, to turn the board around, to make this a comics board again. Five threads per man, that's a hundred comic book threads. Imagine that. It would be so close to Paradise...

Take this as fanfic if you want. I’m not asking you to believe me. I had a low level job at a studio that produces capeshit. I got cut during “restructuring.” So fuck it.….heres what goes on behind the scenes. I’m gonna guess it applies to most studios who make capeshit movies but I’m not sure. Come up with your own guess of who I’m talking about.

>They think the fans are stupid. painfully stupid, they aren’t shy about their hatred of them. They openly JOKE about it. There’s an actual phrase I heard more than once “the braindead manchildren.” As in, “throw in THIS moment and they’ll clap or something and we’ll get paid.” They know exactly which buzzwords, shots, and lines will set off the most loyal shilling retards and drive engagement. It’s been this way for years.

>Executives absolutely lurk online. Reddit, 4chan, X…. Mostly Reddit….They read theories and sometimes just… use them if they’re popular enough…bad or not. I’ve watched meetings where someone pitches something and another person goes “oh yeah, I saw that online.”

>There’s also a lot of stuff that’s actually good that gets killed quietly.

>There are writers who straight up hate the comics the films are adaptions of and think fans are stupid for caring about accuracy.

>Shipbaiting is 100% intentional, so is anti-ship repellant. They track engagement. They know exactly what they’re doing. If it keeps people arguing for six months, it worked.

>They also joke about all of the criticism thrown at them, calling them “whiny bitches”, the office is half memes, half corporate bullshit, and full on contempt for anyone outside the bubble.

The Image Wildstorm Thundercats comic from 2003

discuss DC's answer to Vision

What separates him from Vision?
Did his various appearances in Brave and the Bold, Young Justice, Arrowverse, etc sell you on his character?
Did you like his character before his TV cameos?
Did you wish he was popular enough to be more than a supporting/background character in other media?
Favorite runs?

They were published within a month so it is not possible for either to influence each other, especially factoring the time it takes to make a comic and how you have lead time to release so the month is when it is to be replaced on the stands. But the amount of overlapping aspects are weird.
