>>150313911this cartoon is about how Hitler lost chud it actually is I'm not kidding
>>150313872How old even is that cartoon? I've never seen it before, but from the style I'm guessing late 80s or early 90s. Which were peak political correctness. You're going to have to go back farther than that if you don't want PC/SJW/woke cartoons.
>>150313937And how all Ziggers are backstabbing cunts. Truely ahead of it's time.
Was this whole conspiracy history actually real? Yeah at the end the teacher goes "he knows" and shit but i feel like other prequel stuff shows otherwise? Also the rest of history seems to have actually happened in universe so maybe it was some annunaki shit.
>>150291836The conspiracy was fake, but the other bullshit he rattled off at the end of the episode was all true. He doesn't understand the big picture. But he knows enough to be a thorn in their side...also it its kinda just a funny gag
>>150311781You are just a seething tranny. No, really, this was the reason given. At this point even the most cynical "yeah, we just wanted the money from the reboot" effort would have been better.,
Everything in KND is fucking insane and I don't think you where really supposed to take anything at any value. Idk the show always did a good job capturing how off the wall kids playing can be in their minds.
>>150304449We know. The episode is a parody of the Animatrix and it's overall tone and beats.
>>150308017It's important to remember that, outside of KND and the "Adults" as a supervillain faction, the vast majority of the world is either neutral or at least uncaring. Like all of the KND's parents don't give a shit, and I'd assume most teenagers don't give a shit either. The "Teen" faction were all former KND or associated indirectly with the KND who were mad about their memory erasure policies. The ultimate moral of the show isn't that you magically turn evil when you hit puberty, it's that radicalism, oppression, and violent aimless revolution are all equally retarded.

Howdy,I haven't read any comics or visited this board since King's Batman ended. I vaguely kept up passively for a bit until around when they turned Jon Kent into a fag and then I dropped off entirely due to disinterest.I just caught up on Absolute Batman though and I'm really liking it. Are the other Absolute books worth reading or are they not as good?
>>150310974The lesbian from Overwatcher?
>>150311690The issue that started drawing in mainline Superman has already stated the fate 1000 years in the future with the Legion of Superheroes being absolute loyalists of Darkseid with end-of-time Doomsday bringing up similar reveals. They did bring in Superboy Prime and people are suspecting he's doing a double agent thing with where we left off of a mass war between Legions and him seemingly betraying mainline...so chance of a recon punch opening up a window for the Absolutes to actually win. But as things stand, DC has thus far been setting this up as a doomed timeline. It will be KINO if the absolute universe still manages to break this fate with their own hands after plans made by main continuity fail and it seems their own fate is doomed. But I don't trust DC enough for that, so I'll just ride the wave for however long this lasts.
>>150312850>break this fate with their own handsWith Absolute Batman at least, this seems like a core theme. Batman started with nothing and he's going up against all odds, but even with all the hardships he's not giving up and not giving in, because he's Batman AF.
>>150312850Man I hope so. Feels like it would really do well for the theme that even in the universe created devoid of hope that heroes still stood up and fought. That hope shone through regardless. Feels like it would be a good way to end things. Though I don't trust them to have the restraint to know when to end this universe.
>>150305305Martian Manhunter is the good kind of weird and crazy, Batman is the wrong kind.

Batman AF's buddies were the most compelling difference he had in this universe to me, Bane fucking punching their villain identities in them is really lame. I hope at least some of them will stay allies. Also Joker is probably gonna kill Bruce's mum I guess

monochrome comics > color
>>150312282All I care about is the final product looking good, but it still undermines authorship if you have more than person.
>>150312282Sure, but comics were originally only just gags or pulpy genre products for the most part but that's not tied to what they CAN be anymore, and it's notable that when there was an exception to that, it came from artists working solo (say McKay, Herriman or Eisner). Not only that, but unlike other narrative visual arts, comics can be created by a single author with much less creative and logistical drawbacks than any other, like filmmaking (live action or animation) for example. It's an ideal conduit for individual authorship that kinda feels wasted on a mass-production assembly line pipeline with only speed as a benefit really.
>>150310678What a silly thing to care about. They are both not ideal artistically, as art is best when it's a single vision, but they both lead to a better than otherwise result, as they compensate for lack of skills and time. Otherwise, good comics would be as rare as geniuses who can do everything involved in creating a comic perfectly and in a reasonable time frame.
>>150313230Stating that the team-based effort will always produce better results is kind of a simplistic generalization, but certainly for the matter of time (for the Japanese models and the Western monthly book model at least) it's pretty much the only way.
>>150311863Again, that's by sheer volume and the insane cutthroat nature of their comic industry. There's no such thing as "underground hit"; you either make it or you don't.There's 22 series currently running in Shonen Jump (two of which are on indefinite hiatus). Of the series actually appearing each issue, the oldest running series is from 1997 and the second oldest is from 2020. 100+ series debuted and died in that 23 year gap.
