As it's implied in the show that the Solver's consumption of planets with life on them is leading to a universe "big crunch" death scenario where everything will be consumed by the Singularity - the literal Void / black hole that represents the Solver. So it's not like the Solver can just immediately destroy the universe on a whim. With the IMMEDIATE scale of the Absolute Solver's actions, the entity consumes and destroys planets wholesale and that ultimately contributes to the Solver bringing about the "exponential end" of the Universe. It's a hungry consuming entity that enters through its host(s) and eats, it doesn't straight up universe bust.
