I think an understated appeal of FE lewds (and especially for a Nintendo franchise) is that there is a certain kind of "canonicity aura" around them. Pretty much every game features the characters having offspring with each other, either in gameplay or as epilogue mentions, so every pic of an FE girl acting sexy, nude, etc. can just be seen as a snapshot of "well here's how those offspring were made".
