Moondrop is for wiggers. That's why they all have elevated niggerbass and why shartur (a Person of Color) likes them.
The only moondrops that ever had good tuning were ironically the "Space" ones, particularly Space Travel, but they still sound shit.
By the way, never trust a jeet like shartur when it comes to audio. Don't believe me? Go to an Indian movie in a cinema that screens them for the pajeet immigrants. I'll warn you beforehand to bring pic related if you don't want hearing damage. I'm not exaggerating. The first couple times I went to an Indian movie in the cinema I was literally covering my ears for much of it because I didn't want to damage my ears.

I did a small research (pics included) and I've noticed there's something strange happening with recent WD hard drives.

For instance let's take a look at this 4TB WD Purple (WD43PURZ), the datasheet says it's CMR but if you look at the graph it behaves like SMR and TRIM is supported.
https://files.catbox.moe/xdudsc.jpg

Same applies to 4TB WD Blue/Red Plus models, all these have 256MB cache and 181 buffer zones (like WD Red EFAX) instead of typical 61 like normal CMR WD drive.
https://files.catbox.moe/htn2k3.jpg

Look at these 4TB drives - they all look like this SMR WD Red EFAX drive.
https://files.catbox.moe/cz46vl.jpg

And 6TB WD drives are also identical to this EFAX drive.
https://files.catbox.moe/nd55ho.jpg

So WD is lying again like they did when they released their first SMR Red. Avoid all 4-6TB models, unless it's enterprise class (Gold, Black, Ultrastar).

Here's a post detailing the woes of USB on AMD https://lemmy.ca/post/18336941
>Even though resilver finished successfully, there were silent USB resets in the logs with the OWC connected to CPU-provided ports.
Basically the USB ports constantly silently fail and reset themselves and it's only ZFS's insane durability that kept the data intact on this guy's system. I've read other posts saying they can't keep drives plugged in via USB longer than a couple of days before AMD drops them.
>>
>>106478432
Yeah but it means it's not fighting gravity when the needle is on the way down. This is why they recommend turning your NAS upside down every other year to spread out the wear.
>>
>>106482814
That's retarded. We just ship our servers to the southern hemisphere.
>>
>>106482628
>Here's a post detailing the woes of USB on AMD https://lemmy.ca/post/18336941
yeah that guy is doing basically something you shouldn't do. like running a ZFS array over USB and expect it to be stable (he mentions right at the beginning that he had to put heatsinks on the USB-SATA bridge chip to prevent overheating).
He's also using a 5950X on a B350 board, that thing may not even have proper traces or enough VRMs to handle that chip, plus it's 3 generations later and wasn't even meant to be backwards compatible.

It's not an AMD problem. I've ran 4x external drives simultaneously over USB for a 2-3 day continuous read/write test with a B550 board and a 3600, and it had zero issues (other than speed).
The guy is just a retard who expects 50$ garbage setups to have enterprise resiliency. It's the slav bullshit as what OP does, expecting lowest end garbage drives to not be garbage.
>>
>>106479533
not sure if its truly an AMD thing but ive experienced that a lot with my PC. i got an nvme usb enclosure (i didnt know about pcie adapter boards at that point) for an ssd i had laying around and it kept disconnecting itself during writes, nevermind how speeds didnt even reach 100MB/s. all this time ive just blamed it on the cheapshit B450 assrock board i got.

>Yes it does. It's time to bring back multigenerational households.
Why do incels always say this but then complain about houses being expensive and too small? Not even 100 years ago smaller families slept in the same bed together because they couldn't afford other mattresses or rooms, and at least 4-6 people slept in the same room in bigger families.

This take is so stupid. You would need to have a fucking mansion to live with your wife and children in the same house as your parents. Where I live most people own around 40-60m2 flats with 2-3 rooms. It's impossible to fit 2 families or more in one house like that.

He does a shit job at explaining how it works, it doesn't help that the audioless webm's subtitles includes all the uhms and pauses. When people hear "the government PRINTS money" they assume they literally just print a ton of new physical money at the US Mint or another country's equivalent to the Mint. So much confusion would be avoided if they just said "the government BORROWs money by selling bonds to buyers, that they then have to repay with interest in the future"
>>
>>106481907
>I've noticed that unbranded chinkshit has actually gotten cheaper despite everything.

This is partly true but it's not the whole picture. They are definitely ahead in manufacturing. They are churning out everything from retail products to naval warships faster than any other nation can keep up.

And yes, a large part of this was them using currency pegging to manipulate their currency to make it more favorable for them to export goods to other countries, and your right, wealth is extremely concentrated in China and the majority of people are dirt poor because of it.

It's an interesting dynamic in ways. People from better families are able to afford to send their children to any country in the world to study and work, and bring back their money and skills, while the poor get stuck doing a 996 job making peanuts

Should I get GPD MicroPC 2 or GPD WIN mini 2025 or Pinephone with a keyboard? WIN mini is 800 EUR, MicroPC 2 is 600 EUR with N300 CPU but 3 times worse performance. Pinephone has raspberry pi 3 performance and is 350 EUR on the Pine64 EU store but only 240 EUR on the global store and the key board for it is 90 EUR on EU store but I can't find it on the global store.

once again, I am not including the links because none of that shit fucking matters. If you didn't hold a job before 2022, you are sinking and/or dead. There are talks of an AI bubble hiring hasn't gone across the board, and the outsourcing numbers are still increasing. Trump is beefing w/ Modi, so maybe H-1Bs could be on the chopping block soon who knows

I have never used 1337code to get a job in this industry. During my last job search of 2021-2022, I remember getting a timed 1337code style PHP interview.....I remember how anxious I was in getting these four questions right (which I did), only to never even speak to anyone at the company. I promised myself in the 2010s I would never learn React or do 1337code. I always knew 1337code was going to be a cancer, but pre-pandemic, it was limited to FAGMAN companies I could ignore...but with the supply of new grads post-2017, who "drank the kool-aid" and didn't get to experience post-great recession tech culture (buttcoins on /g/, Steve Jobs still being alive, being in your early 20s and actually being friends with your co-workers while building shit and getting rich), the cancer culture of 1337code would permeate the industry because college kids are cucks

I uhh don't, it's kind of problematic. Add in boxes of unused keycaps, bags of unused switches, keyboard-specific tools, unused travel cases....
>>
>>106482563
I don't think 9 year old cherry reds have a lot of life left in them unless you're also cleaning the contact surfaces etc, which frankly I wouldn't know how to do.

But yes a bit of lube on very broken-in reds would be a nice switch. Filming helps too
>>
>>106482223
>any good replacements currently?
Yeah Cherry Reds cost like 30-40 cents
>>
>>106482563
If the switches are PCB mounted, then you can easily lube them without desoldering. If you need to desolder, then it's going to be quite a lot of work. The switches themselves should still be fine. If you feel that some switches are more worn than other, you can swap them somewhere where they won't bother you. Like moving switches from WASD to F9-F12

>>>106482876
9 years is not a lot for MX switches, even if he's a professional typist
