Long compile times make slint useless. It has a lot of good ideas but I am not going to wait 3-5s for basic hello world. Does it even have hot reload yet? Also terrible defaults much like qml.

Godspeed future boat dwelling anon.
Not sure how markets are elsewhere but in US landlords are half underwater with land nowhere in sight and renters will win for the next 8-12 months. Great time to lock in to something to absolutely fuck the merchants. Only caveat is these guys finally have time and motive to go to small claims court so make sure you cleanup when you move out.

is it normal for all 1000:1 contrast ratio monitors to have this grey tint over everything?
been trying to upgrade from an old office monitor for some time now and all three of the new monitors iv tried nothing looks really black just dark grey

so far all 3 that iv tried are IPS so im thinking i should try a VA since i dont want to spend for an OLED

https://www.lg.com/ca_en/monitors/gaming/27gp850-b/
this is the monitor i got and wondering if its defective because some games are almost unplayable because at night time everything just looks like a grey blur
>>
I strongly recommend you save your shekels for a while longer until you can afford a decent OLED. Between my desktop display, phone and Steam Deck, I just can't go back to LCD. I hope we'll eventually get an OLED or successor panel technology for Framework laptops, because while it's a good LCD panel, it's still an LCD panel.

price difference is probably ~$300, that is small enough to justify it, if you're gonna built a stupid overpriced SFF system, why would you gimp it.

the correct thing to do instead of buying a overpriced POS, is to buy a cheap POS, you'd litterally be better off buying an a770 (16gb) and lowering the power limit to whatever the minimum is, and use a riser if you have a stupid SFF case.

intel just cut a bunch of their linux developers in their recent layoffs, so good luck, nvidia on linux can be a pain , but it works, and has for a long ass time. I used a geforce 7 on linux and the linux drivers were supported until like 2017

I am probably one of the biggest Applefags on /g/ and even I can admit that the Air is probably going to be a disaster. Let's talk about this.
>Apple announced a few weeks ago they will be manufacturing every iPhone 17 model in India
>Air is a thin model with presumably a much smaller battery
>Pro model has a screen on the back and a protective cover which can be broken with a butter knife, no kidding
>protective cover can retract upwards revealing the screen if you swipe upwards on the back casing

There are so many points of failure for this phone it's unreal.
>the screen on the back which can easily shatter in your pocket or one bad fall, zero protection because it's next to the camera
>the battery on the air model which is going to suck as is the case with every other thin phone
>the protective cover which can snap off in your pocket
>the back cover which can become unresponsive or register slight gestures such as a rotation in your pocket and retract the cover (potentially snapping it)

What is Apple thinking? I have a 15 Pro Max which is due for a replacement soon and I might just go Android this time around.

>>
>>106542058
chinks and jeets do not have PCs or even iPads so they do everything on their phone (mostly consooming media) and the bigger screen is perfect for that use case
which sucks for me, since I've been waiting for something to replace my 13 mini as I barely use my phone outside of calls, NFC payments and taking pictures of documents
I'll probably just get the 16e when my phone finally dies
