We have been trying to make models stop doing things like this for literally years now, you can't. No amount of meme samplers, using a better (or worse) quant, using a crackhead/in-character/non-standard prompt, or anything else really, will help. It's entirely a training issue.

I think I'm going insane
I just started using comfy ui, read some examples, was able to run wan2.2 template, generated a video, everything seems ok

but NO custom lora works for me
I simply extended the t2v wan 2.2 template and added more LoraLoaderModelOnly sequentially (both for high and low noise) and nothing fucking happens, no triggger words or anything is making a difference. wtf? I'm getting loras from civitai.

can someone who did it pls post screenshots of their advanced settings with the excluded/allowed processes
do you just set up the process in the general options window, or also in each specific mod' advanced tab?

Had Logitech G305 - developed doubleclicking in a year
Switched to CoolerMaster MM712 - scroll wheel started scrolling in random directions in a year, on top of shitty wireless connectivity.
And the funniest thing is that I used $5 store brand mice before and all of them lasted me much longer than that without issues.
Is there a single reliable brand of wireless mice that work and I won't have to pay through the roof to get?

I mean the backup power that keeps the DRAM on, you can see the battery in OPs pic.
Nothing would protect you from just a straight up power outage while in use, that's why UPS are critical.

>flash memory without TRIM would wear out pretty quickly with constant writes
TRIM has nothing to do with wear, please end this meme already. TRIM is discarding blocks before use so write speed doesn't suffer.
Not to mention, even 20 years ago, internal controllers in things like SD and CF cards did a lot of functions already to keep the memory going good. Not as good as today, but still. Plus SLC and TLC was much more durable.
>>
>>107696958
>The i-ram was created for caches or fast databases
While not actually being very fast. As said, it's SATA 1.0 with no AHCI.
An actual RAMdisk would make more sense at those sizes and speeds the i-RAM offers.
>>
>>107697083
I'm sure sata raid cards (PCI express) killed any possibility of improving those ram drive memes.
>>
>>107694641
Back in the day I had a IIgs with 8MB RAM, that was way more than you ever needed so I usually made a RAM drive and would install the OS to it and then boot from it and run the computer off that. It made everything lightning fast, it was all already loaded into RAM.

Dumb controllers only have limited reserve space that gets juggled around every time there's a write while older blocks are being erased
I've read that some can optimize by detecting the FAT and guessing free space, but I've replaced dozens of pic related just because some logs being written too often kill them despite there being plenty of free space

Controllers with trim have a much larger pool, as much as the unused space, so last much longer

If you already changed the password you should be fine. Make sure you chose a long password with numbers, symbols, upper and lower case letters so no one can brute force it. If you want extra protection you can also configure the router to work with a whitelist system. But that can end up being kind of annoying because every time you want to connect from a new device you need to add the device mac address in the router settings.

I am regularly amazed that we pretend folders are the right way to organise files. They’re entirely arbitrary. Every competent file system ignores them to its best ability. Why can’t I have a file in two folders? Why does one have to be a “reference”? Why can’t I filter for files that exist in 3 folders with X extension?

We’ve been played for absolute fools.

You're not getting it guys. You don't realize folders are shit because you never accumulated a large quantity of media you wanted categorized more than one way. A giant fucking folder for documents or PDFs does not work if you go beyond a handful of files. It just becomes an unmanageable hoarder's nest if you do any serious research. If you do real research you'll collect 20 PDFs in one session and not have time to name them all and put them in neat little folders.

Do you sort by author?
By genre? (science, math, history, etc)
By topic?
By year?
By type of document? (handbook, dictionary, paper, article, etc)

As soon as you make a choice in a hierarchical folder system, you can't go back, and the more categories you accumulate in your media folder, the more deeply nested the hierarchy becomes. LLMs can label our media automatically with 20+ metadata tags and then you can quickly navigate your collection based on what you're looking for in a given moment.

Hierarchical folders have a limited use case: making it simple for programs to refer to system files. They aren't well-suited for any sort of large media collection.
>>
>>107697189
i would just let it all rot in Downloads, download whatever runs Gelbooru and E621 to run locally, and operate on tags and use the gelbooru/e621/etc api to just automatically apply the tags they already had there when i downloaded it

folders are still good for compartmentalizing program files, operating system files, human-consoomable for-fun media, work files, gaymes, etc
