>Not sure what private trackers are all about?
A private tracker is an invite-only torrent website. Each member shares common goals: collecting, preserving and discussing media.

When HTTPS reuse?
>>
>>107830462
idk, there's used to be an open ticket on https://github.com/arvidn/libtorrent but I think it got closed without being resolved.
>>
I'm seriously starting to think about making my own torrent client that works exactly how I want it and ask to have it approved on private trackers.
All it needs to do is:
>maintain one single https connection to the tracker for announces
>download/upload the file contents with TCP only
>save the torrent state in some file
>a basic tui
No UDP, no DHT, no webseeds, no magnets, no extensions, absolutely nothing else that isn't needed for a private tracker.
Once the skeleton is finished and fully working, you don't need to change it at all anymore, you can add features to make handling torrents easier and that's it.

I really hate graphics cards now. I hate having to buy PSUs with an extra 300W overhead to power graphics cards. I hate having to buy huge cases for them. I hate having to buy support brackets, risers or vertical mounts. I hate having to route 2-3 thickass cables for them. I hate working on the motherboard when there's a GPU in there. I hate installing them. I hate how much heat they dump into my PC. I hate how expensive they are. I hate that all they can do is enable you to play bad gaymes and generate porn.
>>
>>107828485
You don't have to get the flag ship elite gaymer GPU. My entire system probably uses 350 - 400 watts max. Just get a entry/mid level card can even get a low profile version. Or get a CPU with integrated graphics this issue is a (you) issue.

Good news anon, if you buy a new gpu you can get one with the new 12V 2x6 connector and go back to routing just one cable to your gpu

I wish work started just one hour later. It's not about sleep or laziness, it's just transit. The literal first bus gets there when I am already late. I have a shitty bike and so if it has a failure, that's it, it's over, I don't have a failover, I don't have a reasonable backup plan. If I know it's fucked, yeah I can just do a death march, but the day of, if the weather is too fucked up or if something is genuinely broken, that's it.

I've already found that at -10 most of the bike fails. I can't shift, and my front rim brakes entirely fail. It's technically rideable, but not safe and not fast. What the hell do you do when you have fucked up hours but no real vehicle? Even if I had a car, what if it's a diesel and all my fuel is gel'd up?

Based. For what it's worth, there aren't many (if any) trannies in marketing. Or at least not anything related to housing, construction, architecture, real estate etc and those are the people I work with. It's all pretty normal guys or fairly normal actual women. I imagine things like fashion or some other cheap consumer shit is probably trannyland though and that's what AI will replace first without a doubt.
>>
>>107828973
I have a tab s9 and while i would still choose it over the ipad (purely from a specs perspective), if you have unlimited budget an ipad pro is better. also ipados has way more and better drawing apps. android has krita at least so it has the most powerful of drawing apps, but the UI hasnt been optimised for android yet.

>Has open source ever been used as an NSA backdoor before?
Reflect on the word "Jia Tan" that Anon mentioned above.
>>
>>107830406
I probably should have worded that as "why does it need to allocate memory that is writable and readable". I'm not claiming to really understand any of this as I'm a nocoder retard. Is allocating memory that's readable & writable as bad as selinux claims?
>>
>>107830457
you need to ask selinux people for that
but my personal guess is, if you have access to memory then your program can do its thing, because without memory programs can't do anything no? so that's why it's being limited
>>
>>107830392
execheap isn't about readable and writable memory, but about writable and executable memory. it should only be one of them. It opens up possibilities for (malicious) code injection. That's why the JIT is having trouble. It's generating code during runtime.
>>
>>107830449
>was discoered not long after it was deployed
>quickly corrected
That kind of proves my point. There are millions of autistis out there in the world looking at the linux kernel and other OSS. If selinux actually had a backdoor like jia tan, i cant imagine that it would have remained hidden all of this time.

It's going to be buggy and slow isn't it

I don't have much idea on that. I already had CS Xplorer (or whatever that file manager is called) installed in my Fire Stick. Connecting via SMB through it is pretty easy. I even had Kodi installed and could connect via SMB through it too but Kodi player isnt really that great so felt it was pointless.

I just need a good media player with control customization options I like which is pretty much MX Player on my TV. Uortunately MX Player does not support EAC3 auio codec and lot of the pirated content does seem to be having that codec. I could only play it on TV with VLC which would have been great if it had more options to manage subtitles. However recently discovered Fire Stick does have Miracast feature and I am pretty much set to play it on my laptop which has all the customization I need

Someone is saying they are going to kill me, they do not like my opinion that toropets was a nuclear device.

planning my tight space, 80cm would be good, but would make the chair a bit tight wouldn't it?

80cm is what the back of my 32" monitor to the edge of the table is right now, Moving it even 10cm closer is awful.

But I had a thought, monitor arms. the actual screen is 60cm from the edge of the desk, so a 70cm desk with monitor arms would be fine, wouldn't it? or is there enough room for the 80cm desk?

it wasnt a myth and it wasnt just electronics, it was also plastic rice, decades old frozen meat, gutter oil used in cooking, lead in kids toys, pot metal tools at harbor freight, i could go on.
its just outdated now. china was a developing nation 20 years ago. guess what, they are basically developed by now.

EU and NATO are currently rotting away due to being slow, ineffective and focused on retarded concepts like immigration and green policies.
Putin will ultimately win against Ukraine but not because he's some great leader - it's just that the forces that are supposed to support Ukraine are weak and retarded. Even Trump is not giving a damn about Ukraine anymore, he's busy starting new oil wars with Venezuela and lol lmao Greenland.
Taiwan is more complicated because it the center of the World for electronics manufacture. China getting their hands on Taiwan would be very fucking bad for everyone except China and it's partners.

These services need to increase adoption to survive, but most users can't see what the cutting edge models are capable without paying upfront

traditionally this problem is resolved by trial periods or upfront free credits. There's a huge problem with this. There's a legion of millions of thirdworlders, mostly Indians, abusing free trials and credits bleeding these services dry of compute.

I have a behind the scenes view of how bad this problem is. I know that it's costing one smaller company tens of millions of dollars, and I can extrapolate from that, that it's costing the industry billions. It's a huge problem and these companies don't know what to do. For every legitimate user free access brings in, there's ten users abusing it. Some companies are beginning to close out trial periods but their new users are falling off a cliff. They're fucked either way.
