Yo, I installed Mint on an old Acer.
The WiFi appears to work, but all of a sudden it stops seeing any networks and just turns to "unavailable".

Can't get Windows to find my installed programs even though windows search is turned on in services and the shortcuts are there and valid in the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs file path. What do?

Looking around have you disabled apps running in the background? Apparently that can stop programs appearing in Search.
You could also just switch over to Everything and EverythingToolbar and replace Windows Search completely.

Is there any way I can fix this? Tried DISM and sfc, whatever I could, and the issue still persists. Also happens with classic Snipping Tool I backported from Windows 10 whenever I try to save a screenie, no issues with Wordpad, classic Paint, WMP legacy and probably other win32 applications though.

What gives?
