It's still manageable for me at the current $650-700 range. There are no deals left. But I can't go Ti.
>>
>>107729029
Most people already play that though

https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/videocard/

Only series 50 card on there is the 5070 and it still is behind AMD

Top GPU is a 4060 laptop gpu

Just below that is the 3060

There's probably more people using their 5090 exclusively to generate porn than there are playing 4k games
>>
>>107729068
Do what you want. I'm contemplating if I should by a 5060ti to upgrade from my 3060 if it ever dies. I doubt it will, since my 1050ti is still operational. Only reason I upgraded is because I couldn't find a monitor with dvi port.

Maybe I could get a maxed out 5060 (Ti) instead of a regular 5070.. I will investigate.
Might be a good time to get one and have it just in case prices do something crazy or the 3060 dies. Since GPUs go without warning.

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

mainly for using VFX script to adjust the depth of a given envelope from the envelope controller, max depth here, lightly applied there...

I don't know what's your setup, but if you have coiled cables try to keep them extended even if you don't need the full length. Also put a gate on that channel and set the threshold to whatever dB is the noise floor.

Happy new year.

With SVI workflow provided at leddit link, i know why i felt un easy with solution of overlap 5 frames. This is wrong, drop 4 -5 frames typically select from images range index 77, i remember this was something I had to do with vace or some shit.

reason is because the next clip will start approx 4 frames in the past and it looks jank as fuck, i do not think overlapping or interpolation would fix that so just drop the last 4 or 5 not sure on number till i test. interpolation would mean 32 fps and also more time and also makes the quality worse, that is a bad solution.

have a nice day.

D is such a cool language. I am having a lot of fun writing my new hobby project in it. It's not corporate-dictated, memory-safe with an easy opt-out when needed, and retains all the cool features from C++.

Such a disgrace it never got popular and instead we got an obstructionist language with a nonsense syntax and a brutally slow compiler.

All implemented better than C++. D mogs C++ so hard it's unreal.
>>
>>107728379
Think of it as c++ without the pozz and backwards compatibility with plain C that doesn't feel like you dumped that shit on top of it without any care.
>>
>>107728373
Let me see: templates, compile-time expressions, RAII (in D as an opt-in thought), multi-paradigm support, ranges. Quite a few with many others not listed, and D adds more to it.

Beef > C# > D > C++ > C > being muslim

A lot of my hobby projects are written in D and I really like writing in it. What I think would benefit it though is better tooling. Especially auto-complete with auto-import. Currently using neovim with serve-d as LSP implementation and while it does some things it clearly lacks functionality.
Often times it has no idea what type an "auto" variable has. Even if it knows the type, UFCS is not supported. I wish pressing dot would suggest any kind of method that is applicable to that type (from all available functions in std or own code).
Right now I keep looking at the docs to find what I am looking for instead of doing everything in the editor.
Using IntelliJ at work really shows how much of a difference a good IDE makes.

wtf is their problem?

as simple as, it's really all there is to it.

firefox is a 5-engineer project that can be done anywhere in the world, firefox would be infinitely better if it did not have the shitty ngo and the for-profit over its head.
both orgs are designed to funnel money into execs salaries who conveniently live in one of the priciest place on the planet while the fucking software they're responsible of are dying and lack actual funding...
you can't make this up, it's the same shit as what is happening with the somalians in MN or the high-speed train in cucklifornia except it's with google money.
the new ceo fo the for-profit already proved that he was out-of-touch and won't do what is necessary to save firefox so it's fucking doomed already.
I really hope google stops sending them money so mozilla can fucking die and some dudes with a brain from east eu can work on a firefox fork for 1/100th of the cost and x9000 dev velocity.

Schrodinger's Mozilla on Google lifesupport is pretty much exactly where they want them, although they are now nearer the drain than Google would like. Sub 2% market share is no longer a valid anti-monopoly argument.

Look up what high output impedance does to frequency response curve and decide whether or not it's a good thing

Of course if your other, not-nicer, source really sucks and adds electric noise or standby clicks etc, you will solve that issue by using any non-shit $10 dongle.
