Yeah that's probably the easiest way.
Problem with wine/proton is that if you're new user it's difficult to find concise walkthrough of how to set it up. When googling around you'll find all sorts of r-eddit posts and they often just hurt more than help. Real workflow is deceptingly simple. Just a few environment variables along with dll overrides when needed.

If you are returning from a long break, I recommend CFG++ samplers (use about 0.7-1.7 cfg with them, I mostly use 1.0) for vpred checkpoints, especially the unmixed noob version. It fixes the color explosions without the need for other snake oils. VPred shitmixes probably work fine either way though.

I work as a software developer, I have one year of experience and one year at this job (first job after graduating college). To keep things brief and simple, I've led a team on a flagship product for the company, have delivered new features fast, gathered business requirements, did most of the backend for the entire app, had a demo where the executive of the entire company said and I quote "this is the best demo we've ever had here" and I make $60k in the US. after the update, samsung magician just loads infinitely. tried uninstalling, deleting all the settings i could find, clean registry etc. even installing an older 8.3 version behaves the same now. dont really understand how this is possible

No, not really. It *could* be used for that but the cost of copper isn't that much all things considered so rather its used to be able to drive more power out of the outlets by using the same amount of copper.
So similarly as your average circuit is wired 120V 20A = 2400W , we use 230V 20A = 4600W for the same amount of copper.
I mean maybe you could save a little bit of copper even with same amperage circuits if you wire up every outlet in its own circuit because of the low voltage? While here its common to wire one circuit per bedroom so theres all the rooms outlets under the one circuit, as 4600W is plenty for the room.

How it affects normal daily life though is that you can do things like plug stuff on extension cords without worrying about it, whether you trip a breaker or not due to high draw is not something that people need to generally worry about, it doesnt matter if you use your stove and your kettle and microwave all at same time its all good

You don't get what he is saying though and you are wrong here, the inline plug fuses ONLY make sense with the ring circuit and you having the ring circuit is the reason why the plugs in the switchboard are rated higher.

You clearly don't understand how the circuits in a normal radial setup work like the fuse in the switchboard serves the same function as your plug fuse, therefore the plug fuse aint needed
The switchboard fuse is rated to exactly what the circuit can handle it isnt some 50A fuse for the entire house but rather dozens of 20A fuses for each different circuit
There is no risk of overloading any particular circuit because they are not wired together but separate from each other
