flatpak uninstall --unused
>>107858960>why don't flatpaks have common dependenciesIs the correct question.
>>107858974They do. But software development isn't some fantasy land where everyone is using the same versions of each dependency, so you need multiple versions.
>>107858992The fact it's containerised means you CAN get away with enforcing a single standard.

>>107858525How do people put up with the pill notch? It looks horrible. Reviewers don't dare to complain because they will be blacklisted and Apple users are loyal to their own detriment. You will only hear complaints when iPhone whatever will have true edge-to-edge screen and the reviewers will act like Apple just invented sliced bread.
>>107858576>androids have notches too!! who cares that it's 4 times as wide>the dynamic island is super useful!
>>107858576Because it houses secure biometrics and has been integrated into the UI. Although I hate the double-standards when critics slammed the LG G8 for having a wide notch, even tho it also had 3D face unlock. Same for the Honor Magic Pro phones.

Why is globohomo pushing this to be industry standard so hard? What's hidden in it
I've owned three different Pyle desktop amps that all have similar problems. All of them blast static when the volume knob is moved near the low end. Two of them have dead or partially dead right channels. Two of them have the grounding jackets pulled off the RCA connectors. All of them have the RCA connectors too close together for the backshells on a lot of RCA cables. Needless to say I'm done with Pyle. I really like their designs but their quality is shit. What's the poorfag upgrade from Pyle that doesn't completely suck?I want:>smol (under 3.5" tall)>RCA inputs>banana jack outputs>6.5mm headphone jack>volume knobThat's it. No Bluetooth or USB any other modern bullshit.
>>107855830>>6.5mm headphone jackForget about that. It's just a resistor tacked onto the rest of the Amp. It's cheap and shit.
>>107858105>R2RNice 80s technology you got there
>>107858152>i want buttons to press>buttons spark joyThere's USB DACs like that. Production and pro gear in general is knobby, monitors too, just don't fall for the prosumer shit that takes style over function to appeal to normies.

Godot is actually not that bad. I already have a long list of annoyances, missing features and bugs, but it's easier to use than Unreal in actual practice so...
man I take a break from devving for a day and getting back is such a pain
>>107858607you just start doing it and once you fail you redo it with the knowledge you learnt, whats important is that you dont get stuck in conceptland
>>107858607Start simple. At first, choose some very basic features that will you'll be sure to regret not doing in the future. Then you keep adding more features if you can get away with it. Unfortunately, you will have to refactor some things at some point, it's impossible to tell what you really need from the get go, especially if you don't have a strong vision for your game right now (no one does).

How come my LED light bulb dies after turning on 50k times but the LED on a LAN port blinks 5 times per second for 30 years?
>>107855653What couldn't they handle a little bantz from their fellow subhumans?
>>107855589Indicator LED are being used well within spec and have very little strain on them.LED bulbs are being grilled alive, pushed as hard as possible because the manufacturer is cheaping out and using as few as possible. There actually are long lasting LED lights, most notably in Dubai where the leaders strongarmed manufacturers into making them more energy efficient. Pic related, see how many LED strips are in them compared to the usual 2 to 4 from elsewhere.
>>107855589Because the light bulb has multiple failure modes that are each more likely than the RJ45 jack LED failing. The power supply can fail. More importantly, many inexpensive bulbs use fewer LEDs and drive them harder rather than using more LEDs and driving them less hard. This makes them less efficient, which generates more heat. This heat then decreases the lifespan of both the LEDs and the power supply.
>>107855625>poltarddoesn't even mean anything anymoreeveryone hates trannies, EVERYONEit's universalthey're repugnant and disgusting
>>107855589It's not overdriven and it never gets hot.One of the big problems with LED bulbs is precisely that they are bulbs, the legacy form factor is unsuited for the technology. You should upgrade your lamps if possible - new ceiling lamps for LEDs have an opening above the bulb for ventilation.
There's no usecase for sideloading other than stealing from devs.
