why did the kurobaex guy fuck up the entire app?
the constant reply wait timer is killing me.
Can I get the bottom bar back to always show? Right now I have to swipe from left side to see them at the bottom of the drawer.
>>107648285I like the new app. Thanks for the beta. It feels a lot more immersive without the bottom bar.

bsky is a lazy griftChinese knockoff ui of twitter, fake claims to being federated when actually federating is expensive, difficult and very easy to censor, terrible moderation, terrible frontend (that doesn't even use their own atproto spec), laughable feature parity (images are still shit quality and thats saying something in comparison to twitter), and an absolutely reprehensible community filled with reactionary politics (I guess it makes sense since the only people who'd move are people who react violently to tabloid politics)
bsky, just like mastadon, is another worthless pedo p2p network run by communists.
>>107662764It really depends on who you follow. Twitter feels much more retarded still, but I only use it to goon and a lot of bot political slop still comes up from accounts I do not follow, and topics I have no interest in.Bsky I use only because that is what people in my same niche scientific field use, and they share cool things. Outside of them, I don't really see anything else on there. I quite like it for that fact, but I guess if you follow retards you will only see retarded shit?
I switched to a gaming mouse I had, because my office mouse I got at work died.It actually feels worse and lower quality despite costing few times more, having "better" sensor and fancy switches. My office mice feel lighter and snappier to click despite having much shallower click.As soon as stores open, I am going to solder replacement parts to my office mouse. Consumer gear is just plain awful. For now, I will be using a 2 button mouse that was with kvm for a dell server.
Fedora updates too often. I'm switching to OpenSUSE Slowroll.
>>107664163What's wrong with Slowroll?

Our algorithmic infrastructure creates a scalable graph over source code at scale. Our AI processing infrastructure then enables us to apply AI agents, guided by algorithms, to make code modifications at scale. The core of this infrastructure is already operating at scale on problems such as code understanding.”LOL

Whenever you get a "no verification needed" and try to post it still gives you the "no valid captcha" and you cant generate one.Turns out it's because of the 4chan Extension. Has anyone a solution to this shit? Its radio silent on the actual devs so far.

>>107664367The only usecase for goto is to cope with C not having proper control structures for the purpose of error handling and cleanup of resources.Even Poothon and JavaScript has ability to declare that certain resource should be cleaned up when out of specific scope.You're a Cuck who loves doing pointless busywork that compilers could do for past 40 years flawlessly.>inb4 midwit who writes 6 level loops copes with goto being "useful" to break outAny programming language has functions and return statements, you aren't intelligent for writing hard to understand spaghetti.
>>107663909>mfw goto isn't supportednoError: { error = doStuff(); if (error) break noError; return doStuffAgain();}return proceedError();

>>107664328If Dijkstra was listened to you would never be ALLOWED to write code in the first place. The consumers should only have terminals and only us, the engineers, should be allowed to program computing machines. People who spent years learning the relevant maths although even the CS degree was a mistake. Back when I was a tech lead I never hired cs grads, only people with background in actual mathematics, even if they had less experience because the vast majority of CS grads shouldn't be even doing frontend when they literally don't have. In general I am happy I will never have to actually work in tech again and I can just look at the sorry ass state of this industry from afar.
