bsky is a lazy grift
Chinese knockoff ui of twitter, fake claims to being federated when actually federating is expensive, difficult and very easy to censor, terrible moderation, terrible frontend (that doesn't even use their own atproto spec), laughable feature parity (images are still shit quality and thats saying something in comparison to twitter), and an absolutely reprehensible community filled with reactionary politics (I guess it makes sense since the only people who'd move are people who react violently to tabloid politics)
>>
bsky, just like mastadon, is another worthless pedo p2p network run by communists.
>>
>>107662764
It really depends on who you follow. Twitter feels much more retarded still, but I only use it to goon and a lot of bot political slop still comes up from accounts I do not follow, and topics I have no interest in.
Bsky I use only because that is what people in my same niche scientific field use, and they share cool things. Outside of them, I don't really see anything else on there. I quite like it for that fact, but I guess if you follow retards you will only see retarded shit?

I switched to a gaming mouse I had, because my office mouse I got at work died.
It actually feels worse and lower quality despite costing few times more, having "better" sensor and fancy switches. My office mice feel lighter and snappier to click despite having much shallower click.

As soon as stores open, I am going to solder replacement parts to my office mouse.
Consumer gear is just plain awful. For now, I will be using a 2 button mouse that was with kvm for a dell server.

>Our North Star is ‘1 engineer, 1 month, 1 million lines of code.’ To accomplish this previously unimaginable task, we’ve built a powerful code processing infrastructure. Our algorithmic infrastructure creates a scalable graph over source code at scale. Our AI processing infrastructure then enables us to apply AI agents, guided by algorithms, to make code modifications at scale. The core of this infrastructure is already operating at scale on problems such as code understanding.”

There is a reason why Rust has libtest, integration tests and all the other test related functionality in Cargo.

I mean technically yeah, although with possibly mixed results as it's generally recommended to do a clean install with a change in hardware. But my old ssd with WiNdOws seems to work on my new PC.
>>
>>107664354
Should be fine if you did NOT install ssd or motherboard manufacturers storage drivers and used ms generic instead.
Also will likely reset activation.
>>
>>107664354
Yes, worked with my brother's PC going from a 9600k to a 9600x. Something fucked up with the motherboard's drivers though so we hade to install them all manually.

Surely the extra 2C/4T is NOT worth a $100 difference and I should just take the bigger L3 instead?
Both of them are terrible for heavy productivity shit and I don't have any tech related job/hobby anyway, worst case would be extracting pirated games, outside that I'm just playing games and watching weebshit
Ideally I should be building a 7600/9600 budget setup, but AM5 is currently out of question because as you can see, I suffer extra hard in the third world

>my specific, perfect, entirely infallible brand of predefined control structures has never been tried
Or worse yet, you think the shitlang you use already includes all of them in its tiny set of constructs.
>>
>>107664367
The only usecase for goto is to cope with C not having proper control structures for the purpose of error handling and cleanup of resources.
Even Poothon and JavaScript has ability to declare that certain resource should be cleaned up when out of specific scope.
You're a Cuck who loves doing pointless busywork that compilers could do for past 40 years flawlessly.
>inb4 midwit who writes 6 level loops copes with goto being "useful" to break out
Any programming language has functions and return statements, you aren't intelligent for writing hard to understand spaghetti.
>>
>>107663909

If Dijkstra was listened to you would never be ALLOWED to write code in the first place. The consumers should only have terminals and only us, the engineers, should be allowed to program computing machines. People who spent years learning the relevant maths although even the CS degree was a mistake. Back when I was a tech lead I never hired cs grads, only people with background in actual mathematics, even if they had less experience because the vast majority of CS grads shouldn't be even doing frontend when they literally don't have. In general I am happy I will never have to actually work in tech again and I can just look at the sorry ass state of this industry from afar.

It’s likely going to be much more insidious than plainly pointing out “le bad company.” It’s more like cutting staff down to a few individuals that will be more worked than teams of the past and compensated the same amount or less to have the privilege to keep their job.
