I make a smaller partition for where all the OS and essential files sit and then a separate partition for the rest. I have a wireless mouse on a desktop computer (meaning no other battery is present) but plasma somehow shows a "full battery" icon at all times on the panel tray and no %, even though it's configured to, also no battery alerts. but if you click the icon it reports the mouse just fine
