Are they making google results shit on purpose to force people into using "AI"? I can't find results for my basic searches I used all the time. They are gone now. Yandex.ru doesn't have this problem.
>>107654659How do people at this point in the game not understand that Google is an advertising company?Do people really think that the purpose of Google is to provide free search that actually gets you exactly what you want? Do people really believe that they just offer the best in class maps and navigation and document editing and all other kinds of services that they offer for free just from the good of their hearts?

Oh my god it was my fucking initial resolution that wasn't divisible by 32. Fuck this gayass opensource shit. I use QubesOS with detached boot partition on 2 duplicated USB drives with any data that rests on the SSD/HDDs being encrypted with LUKS2. Whonix gateway is proxied through a VPN qube to hide Tor IPs (can't hide communication patterns) without bridges since bridge IPs can be farmed. Sometimes Tor through I2P outproxy or vice-versa or with different anonymizing network overlays. Clients used for browsing are only opened in on-RAM ephemeral qubes with no access to permanent storage. Attack surface is quite minimum since no extra things added like USB mouse and no PV qubes (aside from sys-usb and sys-net) are used for launching HVM qubes with qemu stub domains unless very necessary and every other qube on the system gets shut down first to keep information leakage minimum. A veracrypt volume with hidden storage on a permanent qube for data storage and plausible deniability.what's your setup like?

Due to its lower latency relative to other standard codecs, Opus finds specific use cases in real-time interactive communication for low-end embedded processors.[4][5] Opus replaces both Vorbis and Speex for new applications. $ yt-dlp -ba "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dspEVA8eoUg"Usage: yt-dlp [OPTIONS] URL [URL...]Comment too long. Can anyone explain LTS kernels to me?Example:Cachy currently has 6.12 LTS and 6.18 whatever6.12 gets updates the same way 6.18 doesWhat gets backported and what doesn't? What would be the issue with using LTS instead of the 6.18? Is it about features? Hardware support? Performance?

>>107665910that is possible of course, it shows up quite noticeably after using comfyui (so rocm, a gpu-specific/heavy application), is there a way to see/inspect such usage?i have re-loaded a gpu driver in linux without rebooting before, but it's effectively not far off rebooting in a graphical desktop setup/environment>>107665927even running htop as root with kernel thread display enabled, it doesn't show kernel process/thread memory usage (it's all 0)i do thank you for the serious replies, i would like to be able to use comfyui without resigning to the knowledge i'd need to reboot a few days later due to mysterious memory loss
>>107665956>What gets backported and what doesn't? What would be the issue with using LTS instead of the 6.18? Is it about features? Hardware support? Performance?Generally hardware support is the major issue, yes. The LTS will rarely get any backports for that at all unless it is risk-free to do so and Greg or Sasha (the people that maintain the stable kernels) feel they are okay with including it.It's all about security and bug-fixes. New code often can't be cleanly backported anyway as it sometimes depends on newly added interfaces to the kernel. On performance, that can also be a concern sometimes but in practice isn't an issue.
