On the plus side you get the blackest blacks, whitest whites and no backglow messing up everything. I understand OLED is superior to both and TN is the competitive choice but it's weird seeing how many people still tell each other to steer clear of VA when your average $200 VA panel is almost certainly better than a $200 IPS one.
