same type of fucks like Autodesk with Maya and 3dsmax
in essence both programs do same thing
but if you want to animate, Maya is way smoother to do it in but if you are doing huge scenes basically only software that handles it is 3dsmax
Same company, pay me twice

To be fair After Effects does some other stuff than Premiere but it's not an excuse for Premiere not to have object mask tool, even Capcut has it
>>
>>107634146
What cant you do in premiere that you can do in aftereffects and vise versa, disregarding complexity of route to result?
>>
>>107633830
You have the option during setup to use Premiere Pro shortkeys.
>>
I really love Davinci, it's extremely intuitive and I jumped right into it after being an Apple fag my whole life. Holy shit did they kike jeet iMovie and Final Cut Pro. The fucking nigger jeet kikes at Apple won't even give you a fucking Save button anymore. Davinci is fucking great, I jumped right in on it, love it.

Premiere has always been second tier shit.

Did their nginx also also had set up hard limits on resources as their custom proxy?
Also from this quote it sounds like the nginx version also failed to rollback the broken update and ended up in an invalid state.
>>
>>107618555
formally verified C
>>
>>107634098
The concept that a config could only be partaly invalid is new to you?
nginx comes with config checks as well and tells you exactly what is wrong, and if it can continue, it does so while giving you a warning.

Meanwhile cloudflares corporate Rust written billion USD nginx clone prints "panic" and dies.

And thats the intentional behaviour with idio(mat)tic written Rust.
Death is preferable.
Their definition of "Memory safety" specifically excludes memory leaks, because memory leaks "only" crash and kill the system. That is okay. Availability is not a concern. Crashing is fine.
>>
>>107634117
>Did their nginx also also had set up hard limits on resources as their custom proxy?
Yes

Why dont you just read cloudflares report? Then you don't have to embarass yourself woth false claims.
>>
>>107634117
>yes, nginx behaved better and still worked, while Rust crashed, but but it could have rolled back!
why would it?
Auto-rollback is a very risky gamble.
Tell the user what is wrong, while continuing to serve, is the sane behaviour.

I downloaded about 4 TB worth of music a few years back and I still haven't managed to listen to all of it. By the time I work my way through all the old stuff, a bunch of the new stuff will have been scraped too. I don't need to listen to something the second it is released, as long as I have music I like to listen to.

why do cordless vacuums still suck?
30 replies and 2 images omitted. Click here to view.
>>
After we got a cordless vacuum that sucked major ass and then had to get a regular vacuum, I had a thought. They need to put the cordless vacuum inside a regular vacuum. (As the wand) The regular vacuum (base) charges the cordless vacuum. Then they can make ones that don't (do) suck. Ok I'm done my poop is over.

>>
>>107633955
Most vapes on the market are manifold more damaging than cigarettes.
On no-name brands, esp. the stuff imported from countries without scrupulus such as China, concentration of additives is often times completely out of whack wrt safety standards and swings drastically - which can lead to trivial and arbitrary fatal overdosage.
>>
>>107630202
>why do cordless vacuums still suck?
because a real vacuum runs on 1200watts while the best cordless, on ((((high)))) power can maybe do 500 watts for 5 minutes.

lmk when they make 1kw cordless vacuum with a 20 minute run time.
also, lmk when they make a proper press fit fitting and not those retarded clip in fittings.

For the sake of argument, it has one. Rec.2020 color gamut, 10,000 nits peak brightness.
Where it all goes to shit is that neither the color gamut nor peak brightness of the display are required to reach the standard of the format, and even "very good" displays like mastering monitors only hit a fraction of those values. So displays will tonemap out-of-gamut content. HOW it does this has no standard and is different between display manufacturers, so any HDR content that exceeds your display's capabilities will be a crapshoot as to whether or not it actually looks good.
This problem isn't too bad on video games which have their own tone mapping algorithms that can accommodate for your display parameters while still adhering to the tone and vision of the artist, but movies and images don't have that luxury.
>>
>>107631417
That's why HDR has a bad rep in general.
>>
>>107631423
Exactly. Double tone mapping in particular is a problem I've had to deal with a lot ever since Plasma introduced calibration, especially when running HDR games or applications with their own internal tone mapping.
HDR is truly gorgeous when the stars align and everything works, and luckily for me, it mostly does, but it can be jarring to most normal people if they had previously only ever had to deal with weird color balances and gamma settings.
>>
>>107622808
>why is it STILL such a broken mess on windows
Skill issue HDR works perfectly fine on my 2 LG 4k monitors on Win 11
>>
>>107623000
>There's different standards of HDR for different quality levels, for different market segments.
there's two standards competing against the same market segment and use case, hdr10 and dolby vision
each one has a bunch of sub-variants for better quality, some of them (specially in the case of dolby vision) completely different and incompatible with the rest of their own ecosystem

Neat and tidy edition

Is it worth getting into 3d printing?
it looks like a cool hobby but I don't know if people just forget about it after playing around for a month

>>107629041
To continue using your 3d printer and not get bored you have to do more than just print nicknack garbage from thingiverse or cults 3d. You can use it to make actual useful things in the real world.
Its best paired with a CAD program like fusion, solidworks, freecad or blender etc.
Print a gun, print a pc case. Print tooling jigs for drillbits.
Skys the limit anon. The only limiting factor is how smooth your brain is and the materials you choose for the project.
Im currently working on a PS2 slim-esque style case to transplant a mini pc into for a home emulation console for my kids.
Ive designed and printed firearms and firearns parts (study local and fed law if you do this so you know whats legal) and ive made RC planes with my imagination.
CAD software is half the 3d printing hobby.
