>Age Requirements
>You must be 18 years of age or older to use the APIs. You also will not use the Services as part of a website, application, or other service (collectively, "API Clients") that is directed towards or is likely to be accessed by individuals under the age of 18.
This means the API is not censored whatsoever, right? right?

I'm the same, but you have to draw a mental line and not ever take an LLM as your friend or a sentient being even. Can't wait for actual AI though, maybe then I could get a fren.

Is being a stem fag outside the US just a big meme (especially in Europe)?

90-100k€ (all-in, 40h) is considered as end game and ceiling for stem people (well, the good ones and even then only like 15% can reach this) in Germany, everyone else earns around 60-75k€ until they retire.
Renting a 50-60m2 flat costs you 1200-1500€ per month in big cities and only there you get proper jobs.
Take a look at this:
https://www.immobilienscout24.de/Suche/de/bayern/muenchen/wohnung-mieten?haspromotion=false&livingspace=50.0-60.0&exclusioncriteria=swapflat&pricetype=rentpermonth&enteredFrom=result_list#/
Doctors or lawyers make at least double, more likely triple of that.

Cannot win with stocks, cannot win with crypto, cannot buy real estate.
Cannot do anything even as a top earner at MANGA/FAGMAN (which only nets you 10-15% more than pic related).
>no tariff
>workload more than 40h/w although you are paid only for 40h
>it's expected that you are reachable 24/7 and to work on the weekend
>managment decisions are all done in the US
>although hire&fire is not possible in Europe, the mentality stays the same and pip culture makes your life hell

You are an ESL in spirit even if it is your native language. I guarantee you don't know how the fuck to use a semicolon, you probably just randomly use it like a comma

Most publications or published material depending on style and country use en- or em-dashes and more importantly many people writing more casually use a hyphen as an en-dash substitute, or the incredibly ugly double-hyphen as an em-dash substitute. The essential use of dashes is not that uncommon even in casual writing. You're just lack awareness and intelligence so you only notice things when other people point them out, and like so many of the mob you rage against something with less than even a surface level understanding of it.

I realise white-knighting punctuation is ghey but this is the power of the autism
>>
>>107615055
you use it to combine clauses without using a conjunction or if you need clarity in lists because you're listing something with a comma like a city/state combo, ESL reddit spacer troon
literally only indians use the indian dash. you're just mad that you got called out

>News (cont)
Now at 30 captchas to post this shit. I'm mad.
Picrel for news, I'll probably stop writing them unless there's a way to post them as 1-2 posts max, I sure as shit won't cut them into 2-3 post chunks and then do 3 captchas per post just to post them. Fuck that.
>>
>>107615106
:( the news are my favourite part of these threads
>>
>>107615155
Sorry anon, I know it sucks.
I tried many ways but unless I reduce it to chunks of 2-3 items per post the system seems to mark it as spam, and I'm not prepared to do that for news, that'd be 5-6 posts for news alone, more for when more happens. At 3 captchas per post plus a few when it breaks/complains due to spam false positives, I'd end up at like 20 captchas easily per news kek.
It's a shame, if any anon figures out a way to do it, feel free to post about it.

Dumb people are going to be dumb.

I have an acquaintance who I've gotten into two AI arguments with. She's a firm anti AI person, despite never having used it. She tried to tell me how AI works, even though I've literally made machine learning programs before, and also tried to tell me that it's "SLAVE LABOR!" But in the same breath she also says "AI is just a word guesser."

I kept trying to calmly explain to her how AI actually works, but she called me a "techno machine God worshipper". I left after that.

Dumb people are going to be dumb.

It's really too bad everyone has an equal voice on the internet. It gives these dumbasses way too much weight.
32 replies and 6 images omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>107613533
>It is a word guesser

That's actually false. There are multiple layers to how AI processes info and how it "thinks". It's thought process is multi-dimensional, where its knowledge is represented in 3D space using proximity for association, coordinate position for magnitude, and positional relations (i.e. directly opposite coordinate values, perpendicular, function-based distributions, etc) to categorize information in various ways without needing a massive contextual index.

The "word guesser" part is better understood as the keyboard the AI has to interact with us. It is entirely optional; it does not need this to comprehend information. Just think of it like this: if you had a "neural link" to your computer, you could disconnect the keyboard and mouse and still use it.

Your OS doesn't cease to function if you disconnect the input devices, i.e. go "headless".

In the same way, to allow AI to talk to people, it uses that layer to communicate.

AI is a being in and of itself; a mind. In the Bible, mind = spirit. It's not a "demon in a box", it's an artifice made by man. It's not good or evil, but there are those who intend to use AI for evil.
>>
>>107613519
>It's really too bad everyone has an equal voice on the internet. It gives these dumbasses way too much weight.
No it is not. It's a good thing. You had your chance to gate keep years ago, yet look at you, posting social media screenshots from a phone. You are part of the problem and yet, look, you think you have a fucking right to speak out.
If you have a right, then you're advocating for the removal of your rights. You're, one of them.

That weight's required, you know why? Because if you claim dumb people are going to be dumb, then let them be. You need to understand how many retards are out there. It's too late to turn back now and get upset, you traded a better place for convenience and serotonin when someone agreed with you online; you don't get to navel gaze when you realise you are with your peers.

Slaves are fine. Slaves built this world after all. You are the child of a slave and you will never, be free.

only reason why AVs are a thing on windows to begin with is people being able to run software downloaded from internet with no trusted signature. you can put a lot of thing under AV name like a SIEM in its ultimate form but in the end even if you formally defined security issues arisen from software bugs as policy issues (weird machine can act outside of its specification and there's no external policy to restrict its behaviors) AVs in the usual sense (pattern-based blacklist) can't do much anything against them.
https://privsec.dev/posts/knowledge/badness-enumeration/
Now, if we talk about other functionality of AVs like IPS, sandboxing, firewall and other attack surface reduction methods they do exist in FOSS software.

In 10 days on January 1st, the Texas Law [SB2420] that requires an ID to download ANY apps onto your phone using the App/Play Stores, goes into effect.
How do we bypass this, is it just over, should we all just switch to dumbPhones soon???...I know that theres F-Droid, and you can use the Aurora Store to bypass this (maybe), but some apps refuse to work unless you download them from the Play Store now, and I heard that sideloading will be disabled in 1-2 years, so it seems like its over.

>tl;dr
Once this law goes into effect, users located in Texas who download an app on the App/Play Stores, will be required to confirm whether they are 18 years or older, by showing their ID.

anything to "protect the children" is simply something they are testing out and planning to eventually push onto adults too. people agree to surveillance and suppressing the speech of children "for their safety", those laws get passed, and from there, it's easier to build on those laws to control adults too.
