I work at a hospital there are so many items that cost like 15k that do most simplest tasks. For example this pill counter which uses computer vision of some sort to count pills costs literally 2k to 10k.Can any anons tell me how they're getting away with such outsourcing price gouging
I've been using this SD card for a month. No problems whatsoever. 2TB for $3.How is this possible? Is the storage problem finally solved? How advanced is China in technology?
>>107615806Yeah, uh-huh. Write it off and try to read it.
op here i just tried to read from it and lost all my important data. how do i get it back? i need it. my crypto was on there.

>>107615999next time you buy memory cards from china, just like i do, please see the overall market specs for money index and realize that if something is too cheap or too expensive for the specs, it is a scam. for example pic related - BGN5.73 is like 3 dollars, so 64 gb either costs 3 dollars, or 4.23 or 5.19 . the price range for a 64 gb card is between 3 to 6 dollars. if a card is 2 tb for 3 dollars. there is a high chance it is a scam.

>>107614774>apparently the taiwanese think america is somehow obliged to protect them from the mainlaind. just becauseNo? It seems they think exactly the opposite. They think if the burgers can get the same chip tech at home, then they have no reason to give a fuck about Taiwan. They want the tech to stay in Taiwan so the burgers have a reason to defend them.
>>107614774Do you think them moving to the us increases or decreases their chances of being protected by other countries?
>>107615332they still don't have to defend taiwan, simply stop china from getting the fabs. that would immediately make the us number one globally. taiwan basically needs goodwill at this point.

I recently noticed that all these years my case fan was connected to the PSU instead of my mobo.Should I connect it to the mobo or is that fan still working as intended connected to the PSU?
>>107615758It's probably drawing more power than it needs to in its current state. If you connect it to the motherboard it will work harder when the system heats up and slow down while idle.

>people are now putting laptop RAM in their desktop PCsGrim
>>107613227Worst case it will run at around 4800CL40, so you may lose a third of the regular performance of a typical 6000CL30 kit (in benchmarks). In some shit games that are somehow performance bound by memory speed, you'll probably lose 15-20% of 1% lows. It's not great but for cheaper builds it might be good value.

Why arent you using KDE plasma 6 Arch/Fedora/Kubuntu over windows 11. It just werks.I just use flathub in discover and it just werks.
KDE is too feature bloated. Whenever I try it, I spend more time tinkertrannying my desktop to my liking than actually using my computer. So I use Xfce instead, because that is not as confusing and just works.
