I bought an Astro 50 X before going with the Maxwell because I saw some reviews saying it was better. Oh my fucking god what awful dog shit sound, so much worse than my 175 rs, returning tomorrow.
>>
>>107608032
Maybe listen to them for a bit longer, RS175 aren't exactly a good reference and brain burn-in is one hell of a drug.
>>
>>107608301
You might be right, I have been using the 175 for 5 years. Still, the earcups are too tight on my elephant ears, even with the wicky larger earpads. Maxwell apparently has bigger ones; hopefully, it works.

Scratchy Cherry is just having character, personality in the switch. Cherry's uniquely thick nylon tops make it possible to experience this, combined with swapped springs and polycarbonate films. This was not common before. Diverse plates like PP or POM were not so common before. The scene has changed, FOR THE BETTER.
Scratchy ass dry clacks is just character, it's timeless, like vests or checkered shirts. You use modern switches, and they're all well-lubed. Some of them are just lube central if you open up the housing and take a peek at what's inside. Now you put that next to a nice set of MX2A Blacks (Back in Black!), SS'd and filmed to PERFECTION.
And they sing. They make themselves heard. And felt. And you remember why Cherry has endured for decades, and it's not just market complacency or boomers or mass orders for office supplies or what the fuck ever. It's timeless. It has a unique base to it, and it's retooled now with the MX2As for the next generation of clickety clackety mechanical keyboard enthusiasts.

I've heard them big tech vibe coders are professionals at making code that does nothing with a million mistakes.

Which one is better, may I ask? May I also ask whether or not you have actually programmed in machine code?

(btw i may or may not be a troll, but it is funny when you cant be sure whether this is a troll post or not... why am i saying this)

I would like a logical and consistent argument. Good luck,

>>
>>107607855
Since you're also designing the VM, you can make it as simple as it needs to be. At the end of the day a bytecode VM for a statically typed GC-less language doesn't need to be more than a single function with a while loop and a switch statement. Pus maybe a couple of helper functions to reallocate the function call stack.
Generating bytecode is no more complex than generating IR. Except if it's register based you need a little register allocator but that is well worth all the benefits.

The front end (parsing, name resolition, type checking, maybe macros and reflection stuff) is identical whatever you're targeting

Is the mechanical wear and tear problem even solvable? Android phones are disposable after 2 years but iPhone owners expect their phone to keep up significant value after that time, which would be tremendously reduced if the hinge is fucked up or something like that.
