>Is it even worth switching to comfy?
yes. its a huge pain in the ass to learn and it continues to be a huge pain in the ass after you've learned it too, but it has day1 implementations of almost every major model, it has a lot of community and research support, and it won't go defunct unless comfyorg completely collapses or something

The only reason I'm even interested in comfy is because apparently it's easier to do animation on. But I have zero knowledge of comfy and how much it's missing vs. forge, and I don't know if I'd even switch to it as my main generation platform...

What they miss the most is someone who's sane regarding design and consistency, while also having the power to be incredibly aggressively about it and willing to yell at both internal and external developers for making things so fricking UGLY

He let AI and VR slip. Apple is on maintenance mode with no new innovation.

The mobile business is much worse in regards to innovation than Mac. At least we got apple silicon 5 years on the Mac. Windows 11 is in a much worse state than Mac OS is.

The Vision Pro failed.

We'd need that to work for everything though, and isn't that the P=NP problem at that point? If you can verify it's wrong quickly and easily, then you can keep doing that until you find something that isn't wrong.
>>

>Why am I paying for this shit?
Yes. Why are you paying for this shit when you can get it for fucking free under a variety of methods?

Regardless you shouldn't use this crap.
After trying a variety of AI tools for coding, turns out no to minimal AI is still king.
At best I just have a AI chat on window separated from my IDEs, because for some issues it's faster than "googling" shit.

Tokens are not necessarily mapped directly to words. It depends on the model.
However, in this case, the word was learnt as a word length token. There's a Github commit erroneously using "Monwednesday". See here: >>106496680

I saw that post too
He said the first red flag was that the new hire requested a new company macbook on day 1 (because apparently asking for a work device is a red flag now)
Cue comments calling him a dumb fuck for not issuing a company controlled device because... he got the new hire to do a screen share and delete the company's repo but caught them copying it to another folder.

>Any tips?
just check the Buy it Now section and sort by price. the one I found the seller was selling for 250€, and since I had seen the listing I received an offer for like 205. I discarded the offer and came back a few days later, made an offer for 175 which the seller declined, then I made one for 185 and he accepted. after that I just applied an ebay coupon for 10€ off and that was it kek
seller still has one in stock but only ships to my country and a neighboring one, probably won't be useful to you since you're likely not in Europe

I've just checked ebay and yeah the i7 T480 seem expensive here. but I see quite a few i7 T480S for around 200, still a good deal even if the T480S doesn't have two batteries and only one RAM stick can be upgraded
>>
I was browsing ThinkPad's on eBay and noticed that this one seller seems to be using AI generated images: https://www.ebay.com/itm/167773720333 The keys look rather strange. What do you all think?
>>
>>106517502
if not AI generated it's definitely fishy. even the text on the screen is weird, and weird text on the keys aside, the layout is unheard of and there are 2 L keys on it kek

>After almost five decades on air, the future of satellite TV remains uncertain beyond 2029 with broadcasters reluctant to commit to the platform for longer.

A decision needs to be made within the next two years if satellite TV services from Sky and/or Freesat will continue. That’s because the current fleet of satellites are reaching their end of life dates and any replacement satellite needs to be commissioned at least three years in advance.

Yes, like 120 nations official state news, CNN, all kinds of things. I like Kev Goom Siab(?) some kinda channel that broadcases tears of the dragon with subtitles.
