you mean a 2 year old nissan leaf, most of his points were frustrations with new cars in general and not that it was a "cheap" EV
i wonder if ill be stuck with my current car forever until it cannot be repaired or is made illegal
>>106484888>>106484835Leafs are the best electric car that exists and has ever exists.Everything in them has been open source and hacked. It is the only freedom car & cannot be shut down. You can add battery mods and spare batteries. The cooling of the battery is irrelevant unless there's some dumb fuck that uses fast charging stations while already driving, multiple times a day, instead of charging at your home.
>>106485061how do you justify buying a new battery that costs more than the car
>>106484835he doesn't even answer the question posed in the title, also the comments section is disgusting, full of EVtards all justifying the car's shortcomings, EVs are a cult.

2.4KiB avif vs. 2.8KiB jpgWhy the difference in quality?
On a related note it's worth noting that we really take 4chan for granted sometimes. They could just take your PNG/4:4:4 JPG uploads and Nvjpeg encode them to a 4:2:0 JPG. Profit line would go up and other users would then save these abominations, upload them, and the whole incestous process would begin again. Like even though webp isn't supported yet nothing is stopping you from say using Guetzli.
>>106484428It's almost as if bandwith isnt much of a problem in the age of free CDNs.And 20 years ago, when bandwidth was spare, people also used png and jpeg. There really isn't much use in those current-thing temporary image formats that get replace all two years.
>>106484554Nah, you're getting this impression because you spend too much time on a mongolian basket weaving forum where samefagging became so rampant that 4chan decided to get rid of the IP counter. So it's really like a few samefags per thread opening/uploading images every once in a while. That's is like taking a piss in an ocean of piss with the latter being what high traffic websites have to deal with. CDNs have made it more manageable not necessarily cheaper. We could just not rely on these CDNs and P2P everything but then the cloudflare mafia would DDOS that too. You just can't have nice things because...YOU just can't okay?

I will keep using Plasma Wayland until Xorg/Xlibre stops being shit. We shouldn't pretend that either Xorg/X11 or Wayland is perfect, neither of them are but at least Wayland is slowly getting fixes and improvements to it.If the XLibre people want something modern that normal people will want to use then they've got a lot of catching up to do.

I want to make some small command line utils, similar to ls, cat, and such. I'm thinking of using C# or Kotlin. Am I going to get screwed by runtime startup speed? I know the .net runtime stays loaded in the background after the first use, so it wouldn't be a massive issue for consecutive commands.>why not test it yourselfI am waging today :3
>>106485088There's no valid usecase for containers, your usecase is solved by having a separate user configured for it. Which is really no different from separate user that people setup for this thing they call their job.>inb4 copying /home/wagiestuff to different machine is unreproducible

>>106475849undervolt the cpu
Yeah undervolting is the best solution. Was given an old MSI GF72-8RE with an i7 that was hitting 97 celsius just installing games on steam. Took it apart, repasted the cpu and gpu and all it did was stop it spiking as quickly. Applied a very modest undervolt using a literal text file in Linux Mint and now it maybe hits the low 70s under full load.

He just wanted someone to tell him that doing it was okay. If you actually look deeper into this issue you find out the AI straight up told him "hey dude maybe you should get some help" and then circumventing that by claiming he was writing a story or something.
