They have the best AI (Deepseek) and now the best chips.

>China’s analogue AI chip could work 1,000 times faster than Nvidia GPU
>"Chinese scientists have created a superfast analogue chip that can solve complex maths problems for advanced scientific tasks and artificial intelligence while using less power than conventional computing, according to a paper published this month."
>"The analogue device designed by researchers from Peking University uses memory chips made of resistive materials. With future improvements, it could perform calculations at a processing rate 1,000 times faster than top digital processors, such as the Nvidia H100 graphics processing unit (GPU), according to the team."

>"Benchmarking shows that our analogue computing approach could offer a 1,000 times higher throughput and 100 times better energy efficiency than state of the art digital processors for the same precision," say researchers.

I tried translating aspects of LTSC the best I could. I know there's no true "drop in" replacement, but is there anything that comes close?

bonus points if it supports shit like PowerPC and MIPS.

True but I have had this Plasma install since April I can't be bothered switching to another window manager. I can only use wayland window managers anyway because my gpu has hardware cursor issues with x11 ( https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/3709 ) and there really aren't many decent options other than Plasma

Targeting old hardware is fine.
Targeting old software is retarded.

Of all of the "deprecations" (they're actually not) and major changes to some of the fundamental parts of the API, most of them (dynamic rendering, synchronization2, etc.) had compatibility layers on top of the older APIs, so there really is no reason not to use them.

What is the /g/ experience with these two distros in relation to being used as a groundfloor for a vm box. I was planning on using virt-manager for the VMs. Any other distros are welcome as long as they are systemd-free.

Sadly neither distributions have binaries that are compiled with LTO, PBO or support for AVX 1/2.
This means throwing away lots of otherwise free performance (on average 40%) on any processor made after 2015.
I'm still looking for something like CachyOS without systemd.

Eric has failed us, he has literally one job, and that is to provide 25 puzzles, per year, on schedule. Now it's only a 12 day challenge, how can you even call that "advent" of code, which is supposed to count down to Christmas. I am outraged, and you should be too. What if Santa's elves just decided to stop making half the toys??? Ridiculous.

>Also, starting this year, there will be 12 days of puzzles each December.

>Why did the number of days per event change? It takes a ton of my free time every year to run Advent of Code, and building the puzzles accounts for the majority of that time. After keeping a consistent schedule for ten years(!), I needed a change. The puzzles still start on December 1st so that the day numbers make sense (Day 1 = Dec 1), and puzzles come out every day (ending mid-December).

>>
A really lazyway for him to pad out the challenge would just be throwing it "big boy" variants, so perhaps we'll get many step days. I hope he does this on a few attempts to filter the shitters. Brutechads will still find a way.

There are no code puzzles like this, you just suck and your solutions arent as optimal as you assume they are
>>
>>106992262
All of them are, you must've only ever done 2 years if you think this applies to last year in particular.
