Quite the contrary. It's an AI-bubble shilling thread.
The end goal is to make the viewer aware of the general existence of AI/ML/LLM. Even if it's in a negative light.

Why did Firefox become the Linux of browsers?
160 replies and 21 images omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>106967564
Absolutely, the issue has always been the admins that run the company that don't know how to make a browser.
Same issue as Google Chrome incidentally. That's why it's still slower than firefox despite this.
>>
>>106962923
It doesn't help that google searches would tend to favour promoting Chrome over competitors.
It's the same reason why pajeets embed JS analytics into everything nowadays. Google told them to do this.
>>
>>106962228
Fuck off, it WAS faster until 2010, when I switched to Firefox because it started to get slow and also restricted my ability to hack my browser for my purposes (that is, hide their fucking ads in everything nowadays).
>>
>>106959190
Huh, trannies are literally keeping firefox alive at this stage with forks so they can goon in peace from google's eye.
>>
>>106959162
I have a theory that firefox's userbase hasnt actually significantly changed, but all new internet users install chrome by default. theres like a billion pajeets that first started using the internet since the start of that graph

back in 2017 (around that time) discord had a lot of crypto groups where they sent you free cryptocoins. i joined such a group (okcoin) and accumulated thousand of dollars worth of that coin... but it was pegged to the discord account. the more you held the more you accumulated.
A year later I joined a belle delphine leak group (back when she didn't have any nudes around). Never posted, never seen actual nudes...
The discord group got deleted and my account banned. I bet these niggers stole all my coins.

What went so right with Mark Cerny's PS4/PS5/PS6? Mark Cerny wanted PS4, PS5, PS6 and PS7 to be AMD APUs because it was cheapest and easiest for programmers. any optimizations done for PS4 will just help PC get further ahead. ps4 and ps5 are both x86-64

>"They had to get a used motherboard," he says. "That was the only way that they could build a PlayStation 5 equivalent for a PlayStation 5 price. And if you're using used parts… well you can get a used PlayStation 5 for eBay for $300-something.

FX-8350 @2GHz, a HD 7850 and a 5000 RPM hard drive are roughly equivalent to a PS4.

Ryzen 7 3700X and an RX5700 which are roughly equivalent to a PS5. Sony has the Tempest audio engine and the Kraken compression blocks. PS5 SSD read speed 5,558MB.

>TLDR

PS4, PS5 and PS6 are just budget AMD PCs

Eric has failed us, he has literally one job, and that is to provide 25 puzzles, per year, on schedule. Now it's only a 12 day challenge, how can you even call that "advent" of code, which is supposed to count down to Christmas. I am outraged, and you should be too. What if Santa's elves just decided to stop making half the toys??? Ridiculous.

>Also, starting this year, there will be 12 days of puzzles each December.

>Why did the number of days per event change? It takes a ton of my free time every year to run Advent of Code, and building the puzzles accounts for the majority of that time. After keeping a consistent schedule for ten years(!), I needed a change. The puzzles still start on December 1st so that the day numbers make sense (Day 1 = Dec 1), and puzzles come out every day (ending mid-December).

I'm trying to make an extension that fixes some of the enshittification of youtube. The first feature I made is a button that when you click it it opens in a new tab all the playlists a video is in (by that channel) so you don't have to navigate back to their channel tab and search for what playlist it might be in. It's working well.

The second feature I'm trying to add is a way to open a tab with a playlist of all of a creators videos sorted by oldest, so you can watch from the beginning in chronological order. It's insane this isn't a feature on the website already.

Anyway I'm struggling a lot with how to do this, any advice?

You would have to add a bunch of JS that runs on the client and interacts with all the code that youtube runs on the client but that's very hard for a complex website like youtube. So I would say that there's no point, youtube is lost. Best thing you can do is stop using it.
>>
>>106970841 >>106970845
You could /probably/ just use the API to grab all of the videos, though I'm not positive.
>It's insane this isn't a feature on the website already
I bet you ten to one that there is actually a playlist still lurking that can be grabbed by the API that does exactly that. Youtube USED to have this feature, and I used it extensively on massive channels that featured niche topics like viruses(Danoct my beloved.)

Actually fonts have a lot of science that go into them, they're quire incredible.

Berkely Mono - Amazing (Pay to win)
Consolas - Best(Free)
Verdana - Best(Free)

Edges are easier to perceive to humans, so fonts are designed with this in mind.

Fonts actually store the method that was used to draw the character so it can be resized *precisely*.

A regular resize function doesn't work so well.

A lot of tech and science goes into these.

However you feel about the quality of the site you need to understand how it all functions. The average 4chan post does not resemble dense literature. You don't need to be a fucking genius to parse a 4chan post. Here, I'll clue you in about some of the basics.

Let's use >>106970057 for an example
>So (You) can whack it to children
When you quote someone with their post number it displays on their screen with (You) next to it. Within 4chan parlance getting a (You) or giving a (You) is to be quoted by or quote somebody in this manner. So knowing that let's break down the meaning of this post. The implication here is that the person asking must be asking because they are interested. The use of (You) is meant to directly address the person being quoted so it's clear that it's not just to anyone posting as Anonymous. This is implied most of the time but this post took the extra step to make it unmistakable. With 7 words that post conveyed all that. Most people here would get it.

Made a thread the other day but the PRAM battery for my Power Mac G4 came in and like one anon pointed out it unsurprisingly did not fix the power on issue. Gonna do a teardown of the thing tomorrow since I've got the next couple days off.

My first mini was a DEC PDP11 used in a TV station automation system. Next was a VAX server used in a science place. You couldn't easily self teach then - no such thing as the internet. You needed a system and the manuals. Obviously there were not a lot of people with those skills looking for a job so the $$$ were much better than today

Is there a more poorly made, broken piece of software than this shit?
