>>108504076If you manually install a desktop on any distro (switching from an existing one) then you're potentially going to have a bad time. Best to make a new user account or just deal with the fallout (it's mostly crap like GTK themes and settings, etc, which is nothing that can't be fixed).

>>108504135What is an example of a 'truly lightweight' DE? You mean like tiling window managers, or are there conventional DEs that are genuinely lightweight? >>108504140I tried LXQt with Arch a while back and found it was OK, but I switched back to KDE for reasons I can't recall. I think the same as I mentioned, it wasn't actually significantly more light and it needed too much extra fucking around. How much ram are you using at idle?>>108504174Oh it's THE BRO, I'll check it out. Yeah I thought the same, like I could right now with Cinnamon find about 50 different things you could easily get rid of to make it a genuinely lightweight default, but it would still be totally functional and a better experience than all the 'lightweight' options. I'm not even a giga autist either I'm just a low level sperg. Why is this so hard? Probably because there really isn't much usecase, if you legitimately can't spare a single GB of RAM then you pretty much can't use a computer in a modern sense anyway.
it's over.

Proof: It’s NSA because of Mental Outlaw’s video titled “The NSA is Hiring Ex Big Tech Workers”. And further proof: Also, somehow, my older sister was a recruiter at LG (Life’s Good) even though that should’ve been a super hard to land position that maybe only would be filled by employees with years of experience, not my fresh out of University older sister. Also I got a call years ago with the “Caller ID” of “Apple” (no proof) that I didn’t pick up in time, showing that the NSA spoofed their Caller ID to say “Apple.”So basically: “Your boos mean nothing, I’ve seen what makes you cheer.” Knowing how they “reward” with “dream jobs” exposes them.My code: https://github.com/VitaMixofNutrients/VitaOS-Libre (Permissively Licensed.)THE NSA WAS BULLYING AND GANGSTALKING ME FOR THE PAST SIXTEEN YEARS AND STILL IS!They bullied Terry A Davis into suicide, fuck them. I want the Terry A Davis Files and my files (Vitalii Mykolayovich Skikun Files) to be published. Also, the NSA “trademarked” the word “VitaOS” a couple of months ago, but made it look like some random person trademarked it from a “Google query.” No, the NSA is spying on me and I thought of VitaOS first because Vita is part of my name, Vitalii Mykolayovich Skikun. Also Vita is a generic word that can’t be trademarked, patented or copyrighted. Fuck the NSA.My hacked LinkedIn account got and then lost a “Security Clearance”. This is despite me being advocating Anarcho Pacifism politically but still paying taxes like the rest of you. I wouldn’t sell my soul to the NSA.The NSA owes me $20,000,000.00 for my business that I was forced to close last year due to NSA interference.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Hey anons, newfag here what is the best model and workflow to design characters that is stable enoguh to draw them in different positions and preserve the details?
>>108503877I'm so fucking horny I can't think straight
>>108503915If you have 3D skills by far the best way would be to model your character in 3D. Then you can make a usable LoRA simply by rotating the camera around the model and taking 8 T-pose renders. There used to be a poster on 4chan who would make LoRAs using ripped models of video game characters like this and he had the process partly automated.Next best way would be to draw the character yourself. If you don't want to model or draw the character yourself, Nano Banana would probably be the best model for preserving costume details. You could gen a character with details you like then have Nano Banana make more gens using that character as a reference. Given enough gens, you could then make a LoRA for a local model.Even Nano Banana, though, doesn't always perfectly replicate small costume details. You may need to do some significant inpainting on Nano Banana's gens for the small costume details to match consistently from image to image. Hence, modeling or drawing the character yourself are the best ways to go about this.
