>heated argument about Mac Vs Linux

I have direct evidence that GEGL 4.62 and GIMP 3.0.4 are perfect for my arts and craft image processing workflow. Using Mac or Windowswould put me at
a HUGE DISADVANTAGE, Let's analysis the facts

GEGL (Gimp's engine graphics library)
the engine that powers GIMP's filters, with plugins it extends.

I have:
140+ native GEGL plugins I made myself over the course of 3+ years
50 GEGL plugins Grok and DeepSeek made over the course of six months, this also includes hybrid AI plugins I manually node chained)
63 GMIC type GEGL plugins ActiveY ported from GMIC a few weeks ago, also includes 3 hybrid plugins I node chained)

total 253 custom GEGL GIMP plugins, most of them are non-destructive and re-editable

I'm not entirely aware of the nuances or validity, but I've read that Korea has been pozed with feminism. It's a touchy subject such that a pinching gesture is seen as offensive by the men--the meaning behind it is obvious. I believe it was Apple that altered an ad in Korea because it had a pinching gesture.

Also, with Asian relationships, I've heard that the women change after getting married; they start to bust your balls for everything.

You're missing the point. I could feel nothing and react physically, like an NPC does. It's not about "categorizing", alexithymia exists and people still experience, even when lacking the ability to understand it semantically. That's why I differed experience of semantics. The AI is semantically-aware (it can infer there's something generating text) but not experience-aware (there no first person perspective). Now the discussion about "reaction" you brought is only terminological. I could will myself into feeling something even without anything external happening. But then one could say "a reaction to willing", it's terminological masturbation, which makes us miss the point.

>>
>>107554814
Masturbation hahaha.
>The AI is semantically-aware (it can infer there's something generating text) but not experience-aware (there no first person perspective).
Yeah? That's basically what I said. Actual usable active learning would give it the first person perspective in a roundabout way by centering its learning around a "brain".
>Give this capability to a machine, and it now has the bare essentials to become a living being.
I feel you're focusing too much on me saying 'you can reason out yourself why you feel a certain way'. Afaik, even people with alexithymia can still infer information from external events, but let's ignore the 'reaction' portion of this. Because as I said, you're not guaranteeing AI by giving it the capacity to learn, you are equipping it with the bare essentials. For you to be able to 'will' yourself into feeling anything, you first need context, the free-will, and the rationality to do so. Exclude all, place yourself in a perfect isolating chamber for long enough, and you're a vegetable. That's what AI is for now.

If someone came to you in 1995 and said in 2015 everyone would have a little computer in their pocket that's thinner than a pencil and is basically just a very high quality screen tha5t can do everything., With fulll access to the internet, and able to make phone calls to anyone, or video calls to anyone anywhere in the world. And the video quality would be better than the highest end picture photography. And it was 1000x faster than the best computers now. Would you believe them?

progress:: Built a matching tool that allows you to match on 7 dimensions of needs
"deep union web" is a web tool that facilitates requesting and offering generic help from nearby people that you may not even know yet. It does so by gathering your requests, offers, generic visual appearance and coordinates. Both the requests and offers are in these 7 dimensions: Preservation, Gratification, Definition, Acceptance, Expression, Reflection, Knowledge. You could consider them as increasingly subtler needs. Then users can find each other in a map, see what they match in, and if they decide to approach, they can see how others have visually described themselves and where they are (i.e. the selected user is 0.03 km North).

Feel free to use it as an icebreaker, to improve relationships, or to grow your network in a targeted manner!

Why did I do this?
I traveled by bus many times during my Masters degree and was surprised at how little people chatted in the bus. I've always felt particularly hopeful and energetic about us humans. I keeps me going joyfully and smoothly. I noticed that people naturally had many needs and many skills or resources that they would love to share. I also noticed that many people near me spend too long pursuing some of those needs unnecesarily. So this was my effort in making other needs more explicit and to facilitate deeper conversations with people nearby.

The first really valuable uses of this kind of app may be in circumstances where people already feel some trust with those around them (retreats, company, family, friends, etc.).
