>>107860395>Which one is the best TV brand and why?SONY
>>107866964>I would say LG's OLEDs are the best and LG has the best firmware for them.they say Sony is using LG panels.
>>107870457That's unfortunate where is your TV made? I think mine was made in Slovakia but maybe it's different depending on the market. >>107871256Perhaps, I'm just comparing my Hisense to the first party LG with the same panel. The firmware is different on the two TVs, the Hisense is more aggressive with the adaptive brightness and has a different gamma curve etc. ultimately the LG has the better picture, but it was also 200-250 EUR more expensive.SONY used to have pretty good image processing so maybe they can get more out of the same LG panel, but I haven't looked at what they're doing.

>>107861932what is this? Is this stable diffusion?
It's so sad that we can't have things like this anymore and instead get RGB slop and glass panels. Imagine, how pleasant to have one giant 400mm fan spinning at a virtually silent 500RPM, which blew enormous amounts of cool air directly onto every single chip, component, and heatsink on the board, as well as your storage devices and PSU. Now we have to deal with 40mm chipset fans running at ludicrous RPMs and oversized fuckhuge expensive air coolers for the CPU.Are there any signs of hope for true aircooling enthusiasts?
>>107871568>make shroud out of abs sheetingah yes so simple
>He doesn't know
Why are all PCs designed with the glass/vents on the left side, rather than the right side? It would be cool if you could have either, like that Ikea desk that you can flip

>>107861521I'd really like to make one but I don't want to associate my legal name with my domain registrar
>>107871594I will add one at some point in the future. I considered an RSS feed futile, because the site was meant as a wiki, where you edit the same writings multiple times, and not just publish finished texts once and then you never touch them again (like most blogs do), as such there never was one, but maybe even an RSS feed ,where every change miniscule change is logged instead of finished texts is better than no RSS feed at all. Now that I come to think of it, I could use the git log of the wiki to make an RSS feed.
>>107871594>>107871665Okay, it's done now. The RSS feed is accessible over at https://eternal-monologue.net/feed.xml (Also linked in the index.xhtml). It's generated from the git log, as such, since I didn't expect anybody but me to see the git log, it isn't very descriptive or useful, but I will try to be more descriptive in the future, such that the RSS feed is actually readable, now that it's meant for consumption. I tested it with Liferea, hopefully it works with all the other feed readers too, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

>>107871448>>107871465So this is just some made up slop that doesn't even work, let alone compile and almost everyone in this thread is acting like it's real without validating the source?Even if you managed to make a LLM write your own browser, it would probably suffer from 10k bugs and RCE exploits that the LLM cannot fix or detect.
>>107869657Real expertise will be valueable something which AI trainers want. Further, human free will or agency is what makes or breaks people. Some people dont have enough agency even if given a billion dollars, they will squander it. Others given few thousands can turn it into a trillion dollar, and possible multi trillion dollars worth of investment
>>107871827did you validate that it doesn't work? feel free to try and compile from source
>>10787144832 build errors but most of them are>name x is defined multiple times>conflicting implementations of xThis type of error is extremely typical. As a project grows, the likelihood that an LLM reimplements something instead of using existing frameworks and utilities increases. It can be mitigated through good system prompting but then the LLM has to search the entire repo every time it makes a change to be sure it's not reimplementing anything unnecessarily, slowing everything down significantly. The core problem is their limited capacity for abstraction, obviously.
This will change everything.

>>107865143If your "Modem" is actually a modem, then there is no easy way to bridge the connections. You'd have to connect the PC to the router.Search up "what is my ip address" on both the family PC and one of the other devices connected to the router. If the addresses are different, then, wew, you really do have multiple WAN addresses and your Family PC has one of them. W-e-w. Unless you're behind CG-NAT... which I'm not even gonna get into.I think it's more likely that the "Modem" is actually a router and the "Router" is actually a wireless access point, possibly with its own NAT. In this case the solution would be to disable NAT on the WAP and let the actual router do DHCP for all devices.
