It seems like if infrastructure is bad, it should be replaced. Maid card replaced github but was banned by 4Chan. It seems like building Maidchan is the next logical step. If current systems are unacceptable, new ones can be created. There is nothing comfy about excessive jannying.

>>106540229
Anonymous isn't a comfy culture. It is a box of retards spamming soijacks and shouting about "trannies". Maid /dpt/ is measurably better than non-maid /dpt/, until janny shuts it down. A Maidchan is worth it just for maids to segregate themselves from such people.

I like how a thread ostensibly about a shell devolves into a fight about Rust because the only people defending it are Rust zealots. I have no idea what language Bash is written in. I assume it's probably C? I'm not going to contribute code to either one of them so why should I care

fish is (now) written in rust too. but it doesn't "trigger" people the same way.
nu is/was a disrupter like rust besides being itself written in rust. so it's normal that it would trigger crowds like experts on trannies, and some non-experts too.

What is with the obsession of making phones thinner? Don't we remember how iPhones were bending in pockets? I'd rather have more damn battery life.
>>
>>106540061
yeah, shit sucks
but customers have largely forgotten that phones used to be one hand devices

Given the bumps to the base model this was the perfect year to go back to one iPhone. No idea what the fuck they were thinking here with the Air or the Pro. Even worse than Ive.
>>
>>106539864
Because it's thin, sleek, and sexy?
I do wonder if we'll have another BendGate like with the iPhone 6 after some thot puts the air in the back pocket of her jeans stretched over her discount BBL.

I'm so glad I bought a mini when they announced they will not be refreshing the line. I've actually gotten comments or people surprised at a phone that small. Fits great in my pocket and does everything I want it to do (which is the most basic stuff). Hope we get another mini or variant thereof with a small screen.

I've got an old win7 PC and it suddenly switched off. When I try to boot it I'm hearing 4 bleeps at 2 second intervals and the monitor screen in sleep mode.
It has been going into sleep mode regularly for weeks now upon booting but nothing like this. I can't even get it to boot up.
Any advice how to fix??

My car was stolen, and I have no means of tracking or finding it. Cops where called, but my work stuff was in it, including my laptop. I don't have Google find me on it, the only thing I can think of using is Tailscale. I installed it a while ago for streaming reasons. It's still on the network, but not on. Last time it was on was yesterday, but before it was stolen.

Can I use Tailscale to find my laptop? Geolocate, or find an IP to then trace? I am an idiot, and I'm at my wits end.

I would say they are as well known as Seeed or Lilygo in the maker/tinkerer/hobbyist/diy field, maybe not as prominent as an Adafruit (especially in the US), but still. They regularly throw boards at that Eastern European dude for example https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCit2rVgOvhyuAD-VH5H_IHg
I've been looking at some of their recent rotating knobs with a circular touchscreen in the middle for a potential project
>>106539875
If you're someone like me, a software dude who doesn't have a 3D printer who doesn't know how to design/fab custom PCBs, having a manufacturer with a real brand and some quality check delivering integrated "things" with the components you want (in a nice molded case, already soldered), is quite nice.
Teaching is an option too yeah, but you may not be their target anyway

I use KDE and I honestly wish it was better.
It constantly fails to show paired stuff and I usually have to restart it on both devices before sending files. I use it on Windows (desktop + laptop) and android (pixel + chinkheld).
Sometimes I send files to my gf's iPad, but airdrop is obviously much better if you're only using apple shit.

I wish there was a universal airdrop alternative that's pushed by Microsoft and adopted by Google

In comparison to other ways to launch Windows Apps in Linux, it's supposed to be the one-stop solution for all non-gaming software.

Their goal is all the same anyway: "Get people away from the Stained Glass towards where the Penguins live.

They just didn't really do anything special and I already have plenty of generic sounding DDs that play well with EQ - HD600 and HD490 to be specific. I don't consider either to be objectively better than the AR5000 but those two were more comfortable for my head so I kept them and sold the Aune.
