I'm not arguing for "might makes right", i'm arguing against "might makes wrong".
Just because Israel is winning, doesn't mean they're in the wrong. Just like how the allies weren't in the wrong when they were bombing the Nazis.

If the Palestinians chose peace instead of war - by negotiating a peace treaty instead of walking away, and not voting for terrorists - they would be in a much better place.

The only reason this war has lasted for this long is Israel wanting to avoid harming civilians and especially the hostages. If they wanted to do a genocide, they could've done it in one afternoon by poisoning the water supply.

>Just like how the allies weren't in the wrong when they were bombing the Nazis
If you're firebombing civilians, you're wrong. If you're firebombing civilians on another continent, you're some kind of banker fellating matricide or psychotic limpdick wheelchair gimp.
>not voting for terrorists
They haven't had elections in 30 years. Most Palestinians aren't even old enough to remember elections. Israel kept Hamas power because it's a ready supply of excuses to do ethnic cleansing.

Pros:
>Strong sandboxing/isolation improves security.
>Widely supported across major distros (especially Fedora, GNOME-based distros).
>Uses Portals apps can request access to files, devices, etc. in a controlled way.
>Good integration with desktop environments.
>Flathub is a central, well-maintained app store with lots of apps.
>Auto-updates supported.

Cons:
>Flatseal has the potential to change the permissions of other flatpaks at will. Essentially, a flatpak with the ability to change the permissions of other flatpaks. It is rendered to be "Potentially Unsafe" with "Arbitrary Permissions" with access to "User Data" subfolder flatpak/overrides, Can read and write all data in the directory" and "Arbitrary Permissions, Can acquire arbitrary permissions".
>Larger disk space usage (apps bundle runtimes + libraries).
>Slower startup compared to native apps (sandbox overhead).
>Strong desktop focus not ideal for CLI/server software.
>Relies heavily on Flathub (centralization concern).

bullshit, their frankenstein of an architecture loongson has been found in smartphones as a replacement for ARM chips. Somehow it works fine, it can even emulate x86, probably no worse than microsoft own arm64. Taiwan reacted in time and dumped their IP core + dev + prod pricings for ARM stuff. RISCV is still horrendous on chinese side.

Switching from Java services to Kotlin/Go seems like make-work. Change my mind.
>>
>>106483746
from a technical pov it is even worse, modern java is a much better platform all things considered (performance, support, features including even LLMs are better@java I wager)
the pool of java devs are much bigger than kotlin/go. OTOH java is the most jeetified language, so in the white male case it might worth the trade off, but keep in mind working in a niche subpar stack might affect long term employability. Also not dealing with @sprong@ is a blessing.
>>
>>106483746
Do non-Indians like working with Java? My gut feeling that it's a pretty hated language.
>>
>>106484524
its very old so it's very well documented just by there being millions of forum posts asking basic questions about it so eventually you can find one that isn't an SO tier "You're trying to do X? Just do Y instead :)"

>he can afford a billion dollar sound system but cannot buy an 8$ apple dongle
you still aren't making any sense, a perfectly transparent usb sound card costs literally pennies, it's very likely that the one in your computer is already perfectly transparent but since you're an audiophool and it costed pretty much 0$ you'll just imagine it sounds like shit.
>>
>>106484539
>a perfectly transparent usb sound card costs literally pennies,
That's the thing, you have no idea how bad it actually is till you're able to compare with something good, and even if it weren't so, I don't work in the audio industry and I don't do anything audio-related on my pc which may even partially merit getting a better setup (and I ain't ordering one just to shut you up). I have my high-end stero where I play all my cd's, flacs and vinyls and that's about it.

On a related note it's worth noting that we really take 4chan for granted sometimes. They could just take your PNG/4:4:4 JPG uploads and Nvjpeg encode them to a 4:2:0 JPG. Profit line would go up and other users would then save these abominations, upload them, and the whole incestous process would begin again. Like even though webp isn't supported yet nothing is stopping you from say using Guetzli.
>>
>>106484428
It's almost as if bandwith isnt much of a problem in the age of free CDNs.
And 20 years ago, when bandwidth was spare, people also used png and jpeg.

There really isn't much use in those current-thing temporary image formats that get replace all two years.
>>
>>106484554
Nah, you're getting this impression because you spend too much time on a mongolian basket weaving forum where samefagging became so rampant that 4chan decided to get rid of the IP counter. So it's really like a few samefags per thread opening/uploading images every once in a while.

That's is like taking a piss in an ocean of piss with the latter being what high traffic websites have to deal with. CDNs have made it more manageable not necessarily cheaper.

We could just not rely on these CDNs and P2P everything but then the cloudflare mafia would DDOS that too. You just can't have nice things because...

YOU just can't okay?
