Is there any general way to be able to use a laptop strictly through power without it touching the battery? I know this seems something more suited to a Google search but there's so much conflicting information that I couldn't get a proper answer, sometimes apparently you could simply remove the battery and use it like that, sometimes apparently the laptop won't post without the battery.And there's a bunch of brand specific BIOS stuff that also depends on the laptop model and it's all so confusing.I will mainly be using my laptop intensely and I don't wanna kill the battery because of it, so in general is it bad if I constantly use it while it's plugged in? And if so what are some remedies?
It used to be more common in older laptops where you could easily physically detach the battery. Nowadays, I really doubt it's possible in most cases. I wouldn't worry, just run the battery and replace it when the performance of it becomes unacceptable to you. You'll likely get a few good years out of it.

I have a newish thinkpad that I've mostly kept plugged in with battery threshold for almost 4 years and I've only accumulated 24 charge cycles on the battery from the battery slowly discharging from 80% to 40% every 1.5-2 months. It doesn't draw from the battery while plugged in and I've kept the laptop on almost daily for about 4-8 hours a day. This is without any tinkering besides setting the battery threshold. In the few times I've recently had to go unplugged, the battery still lasted 4-8 hours just like it did on day 1.

Rust is for people too stupid to learn how to manage memory themselves. Historically these kind of people were filtered out of the industry once they started doing anything non trivial. Now they have shit like Rust, Java, Js, Python etc etc which allows them to continue shitting out garbage code because they do not have to worry about the memory layout or structure of their program, the language does it for them, albeit, poorly. This results in a subclass of programmers that are about as good as 1st year CS undergrads who proceed to shit out more and more garbage software while giving said people an over abundance of confidence which is not warranted. This is true in almost every domain and it's part of the reason why the world is in a rush to the bottom. It will never get better until society cracks under the collective incompetence of the work force and greed of the pay masters.
