There isn't a single reason to "click" the start button. Windows 8 did right to remove it from the task bar.

>that's the most inconvenient place on the screen to put it. It gets in the way of everything while also being difficult to snap to due to a lack of hard barriers stopping you from over shooting.
It's a launcher. Wtf are you using the start menu for?

>That's what alt tab and window resizing are for. And if you absolutely must have more screenspace, multiple desktops do the same function better.
I don't need to alt tab and I don't need to fuck around with virtual desktops because I have actual screen real estate. If you aren't multitasking you might as well swap your PC for a tablet lmao

AI slop always have the same face. If you had played around enough you can even tell what model it was from based on the face.
You can check the image resolution too, there are common image resolutions and ratio used for slop image generation.

I honestly can't understand where all this "let's all shit on GNOME" comes from, to be honest. As a Linux user who's tried almost every DE and standalone WM and who's currently using GNOME on his main desktop PC I kinda regret not having tried it earlier: it feels snappy, coherent and very comfortable as a daily workstation. The only thing which comes close to GNOME in my experience is Cinnamon but it's uglier and lack of Wayland support is kinda bad right now.
>>
>>107107745
You're not supposed to use the app grid to launch frequently used apps when using a keyboard, it's there for touch and mouse only users. Use the dash by clicking/tapping or by using its keyboard shortcuts or press the Super/Windows key and type the app's name, GNOME isn't and shouldn't be designed for baby ducks that refuse to move on from Win9x.

ive read that modern training scripts have been optimized quite a bit so maybe? if youve got some spare change lying around you could rent a gpu for a bit. cant imagine just training a lora would cost more than $5-$10
>>
>>107117568
I would love to know if it's possible to train an Illustrious LoRA with a 12 GB card. I have a couple specific ideas for LoRAs I'd love to have.
>>
>>107117609
illustrious should definitely be possible since its based off SDXL
>>
Do LoRAs intended specifically to NOT gen a specific concept (if that concept is given a unique tag in the training data and then that tag is used in negatives while genning) work?
And can LoRAs be simultaneously trained to gen one specific concept (with its own unique tag) and NOT gen the opposite specific concept (with its own unique tag)?
>>
>>107117745
there used to be textual embeddings trained on low quality images or images with errors that were meant to go in the negative prompt. dont think thatd work with lora's though because loras are meant to teach the model something it doesn't already know whereas embeddings are for stuff the model does know but perhaps wasnt captioned properly

So apparently this is more "Readable™", "Modern™" and "Elegant™" than loops.
Honest thoughts?
I'm learning and I like my old man loops (that all those methods use under the hood)
The immutable argument is invalid since you can write code that doesn't modify arrays without these methods

Except for simple things like calculating the sum of a number array, reduces always look polluted and not very clear compared to loops.
I see no reason whatsoever to use them instead of a for loop.

Build a PC
If you move overseas, take your PC with you
If you are constantly having to move nonstop during the day and have to take your computer with you when do then buy a laptop
The "5070ti laptop" GPU is not a real 5070ti GPU.
If upgradeability is a concern build on AMD AMD (7000/9000) CPUs. You will be able to upgrade them for many years without needing to buy a new motherboard and ram
PC enthusiasts will spend hundreds on ewaste no matter how old it is. There is always a richfag/poorfag/autist out there willing to pay for someone else's trash.
OLED monitors are expensive but their prices are coming down recently
I used to buy those hulking hot as shit loud as fuck 80% plastic jet engine gaming laptops that and drag them up and down all day between buildings and between countries it sucks. A laptop should be as thin and light and invisible as possible. I'm never going back to that gaming laptop hell
