the mac is gonna be faster than just about any server you can build. The new EXO clustering over thunderbolt means you can rack and stack bb.

inferencing is mostly about memory speed. Training needs muh Cuda cores.

I dunno. T/s is about the same as DDR5 epyc from what I've seen. It makes sense only when you're hardware illiterate and you want that juicy power consumption.
Stacking macs is fairly retarded as you could have bought many used GPU and fast components for the money if you knew what you were doing.
RAM prices currently fucked things up and macs aren't going to escape that in the new year.

i changed my username recently and now i don't have sudo permissions even though i'm still in the wheel group. apparently archinstall sets up sudoers per user and does not apply it to the wheel as a whole. why is that? are archinstall mantainers retarded or is there a reason to do this i don't know about?

// stupid retarded way to do it
/etc/sudoers.d/00_<username>

XP diehard here. I recently though about getting myself some drawing tablet to learn digital art to find a new hobby and make AI bros seethe. Unfortunately, there are very few drawing tablets that I can easily get that are still compatible with Windows XP. I have seen plenty of tablets like this that are supposed to support Windows 7 though, although I kinda feel like Microsoft started ruining Windows from this specific version, when they forced people to use signed drivers, got rid from references to actual ownership (for example, renamed "My Computer" to just "Computer"). Do you think that updooting would be like bending the knee, or should I just take my meds and stop mumbling? I could always alternatively just get into regular art that doesn't require computers at all, although it won't piss off AI bros so hard. Thanks in advance!

OP 13 on Android 16 here. Can anyone tell me why this is stuck on my lock screen? This just happened at random and clearing cache and deleting/reinstalling Spotify doesn't get rid of it. Swiping on it gets rid of it at first but it eventually comes back. Tapping on the media player itself or any of the buttons does nothing either.

Exactly. The market isn't there for selling shine-through caps separately. Gamers are happy with replacing their worn out caps with Corsair, HyperX and Razer offerings. It is strictly for maxxing out RGB in gamer keyboards for marketing purposes and because gamers play in pitch black darkness.

You want less filter lists and no cosmetic filtering

Cosmetic filters are powered by random javascript scriplets which can make you vulnerable to XSS attacks

These XSS attacks can persist via serviceworkers. Make sure to review chrome://serviceworker-internals or about:serviceworkers to deregister serviceworkers you no longer need

These workees can run javascript even when the browser is closed

Once again: only keep the default filters, and turn off cosmetic filtering. Adding more filters is counterproductive. You should use freetube instead of youtube, and you should seriously consider ublock origin lite because it does not need global scoped permissions to work (you can configure it, you only want network filtering)

Network filtering is the best for both security and privacy, cosmetic filters work via scriptlets which are not secure.

You're supposed to have multiple backups and redundancy in your storage, plus the assumption that a single physical medium will last your entire life is fundamentally incorrect. If you want to keep data for your entire life, you will have to periodically make new copies on newer storage media and also inspect your stuff for failure / degradation.

I'm officially washing my hands of the Wikimedia Foundation (aka Wokemedia Foundation) and Wikipedia. I've already been banned for years for doing protest vandalism but I won't even try to edit anymore as its not worth the effort as admins are always lurking recent changes to revert shit. Wikipedia has been taken over by mentally ill admins and a clique of "extended confirmed" users who anonymously label prominent figures as Nazis with paraphrased "reliable sources" (with a shitlist of sources they don't like) and push constant woke "facts" in the did you know section of the main page. They even broke the online safety act (and their own terms of use) a few days ago by showing a flashing image on the main page.

I looked at the financial reports and Wikimedia has scammed people out of almost $1 billion dollars over 25 years, when they only need a million a year to host mostly static pages from cache and minimal javascript like search suggestions.

Wikipedia needs to be investigated and admins forced to explain themselves. People are literally getting hurt because of Wikipedia. Jimmy Wales is the ultimate loser of the internet.

I got this kit for dirt cheap (comparatively) and so it is actually an intel kit and the stock AMD timings were dogshit (3000Mhz CL38-38-38-78), so I manually tuned it on first boot and spent the last few days making sure it was stable before enabling memory context restore and power down enable in my BIOS and calling it stable (where I am today).

I got 70.5ns latency in AIDA64 with a VPN going, Deluge going, 16 tabs of edge browser, discord, and steam all running in the background.

So i'm probably doing pretty good overall compared to stock, but I wont be winning benchmarks.

>>107658089
I figured as much.
>>
>>107658033
Can't really find much about it online but it has a bigger fan and heatsink than the AMD stock cooler so you should be alright. JUst check the clearance with your case first.
