Find a THX certified select speaker and look for similar speakers. I never think about the room size when picking speakers, you can just sit closer in a big room. But the bigger the room the wider you want the radiation of the speaker, because reflections get weaker. And/or toe the speakers out.

>you cant even disable ipv6 on phones
It's not about what you can disable or enable on your device. It's about what your network provider is willing to give you. If you disable IPv6 on an Android phone (which should be possible with enough privileges), it doesn't always mean that your provider will simply fall back to v4 - you might just have no connectivity at all.

You can have both enabled on the same physical network segment, but you can't literally use both at the same time since they're not compatible (I'm not talking about tunneling or other hacks).

Ok bros, I need to have a new Laptop by Monday for my new job.

Job details: Mostly browser based. Will need to run lots of browser tabs simultaneously with Slack always running. Not very demanding. However, am expected to perform light dev work/vibe coding.

Considerations:
I live in SEA. Therefore:
>Options are limited
>Computers are a bit more expensive
>Used market is shit. Full of scammers.
>Power goes out a lot. Need a device with a great battery that can handle a full 8-10 hour day on a single charge.
>Needs to be mobile. Desktop is not an option

Other considetations
>I produce music so having either an AMD chip or a Mac M-chip is preferred
>Will have lots of static windows running for several hours so want an IPS screen. OLED is not desirable.

I might be biased since I like UNIX-like operating systems, and I do have a FagBook Pro, but I'd recommend getting a MacBook Pro (or air even), IF you plan to do music production. I've had a better experience with Apple's CoreAudio than the ASIO drivers on Windows.

Usually your VSTs will also have a AU download option. If you are pirating, you must get the AU versions of plugins. VST does work, but i've had a pretty unstable experience with them. On MacOS you can't run older plugins that are 32 bit, so older plugins will not work. Make sure you get the plugins for Apple Silicon.

>However, am expected to perform light dev work/vibe coding.

If you are doing ANY dev work, you should pick a UNIX-like environment. If you plan to go with options 2 and 3, install an operating system that's based on Linux (or even freeBSD if you want a crazy adventure). Avoid Windoze for dev work at all costs. However do be warned that the audio production scene on Linux is still growing, so there might be some growth pains or incompatibilities with your DAW and plugins of choice. Usually you *could* get away with dual booting Windows and Linux, but I'd rather not touch Windoze ever again.
>>
>>108615790
Bite the bullet and buy/steal compatable VSTs to macos. It's way better with audio latency stuff, and performance to battery life is unmatched. The only thing if you gonna spend arund $2k go for the PRO and buy as much RAM as you can. Air is great for taking it around the city. If you gonna be at home there is no point of having a weightless laptop with no cooling.
>>

Define repaired. I opened my wheezing PS4, cleaned it up, repasted it, put it back together and it worked and was quiet since. On the other hand I tried flashing the Xiaomi smart lamp with Tasmota, ended up melting the traces out of the board while trying to solder just a few gold pins for the programmer. The lamp still works, but ain't gonna ever be able to re-program it again xD So I guess it's a wash. And I'm not even a girl so I could make an YT channel out of it and live rent free in goober heads...

What's the point of discovering new content on YouTube if there's a 50/50 chance of it being a highly polished AI gen video repeating the same thing over and over again for 20 minutes?

It is working as expected.

Businessmen know that normies don't really care what that are given. They want YouTube as a TV. No one has taught them that something can be genuinely interesting, and explained by real people who know their shit (instead of just fast-talking presenters and fake media stars), so they grab a doze of dumb entertainment.

Every social network service works as a TV for the lowest common user now. AI simply cuts production costs, so it is natural that crap content producers all use it. If you want to make money on crap, your business is in danger. If you want to make something valuable, you make something valuable. It was always like that.

So stop complaining how recommendations are not the same, as millions others find fashionable to do, ignore all the YouTube crap at one, and find interesting people on your own.
>>
>>108613558
> you can't find anything good on there without having an account so you can get a favourable algorithm
I have the account since the days they weren't even combined with Google accounts. The Algorithm in which you idiots believe does not exist, and it is completely broken for me. Given all the history, it fills the home page with unrelated crap I won't watch, and does not even update most offers on refresh. I guess I do not fit the kind of user on whom they trained their models. Which also suggests that the goal of that training was not to solve users' problem, but something else. And that should be obvious: when the corporation is given a success metric (watch time wasted by users on their service instead of competitors' services), every department and every employee starts working to increase it, willingly or unwillingly.

I found your problem. Here's an advice: you should know what you want to watch and whom you want to check before opening YouTube. If you don't, don't open it. If you don't know which video to watch next, stop and close YouTube. The same works with any other service. Use it the way you intend to instead of getting used.

And eveybody wear glasses and beards.

Do not make any purchases on Ebay unless you use PayPal, or another intermediary (such as Apple/Google Pay). Ebay seems to have rewritten their entire backend with AI and jeets, so their entire site is pretty much fucked now.
