same, i'd love to sell but no idea where
>>
>>107544577
Maybe in the current market having spare RAM is a good thing if your current hardware fails.
>>
>>107545031
Nigger you have access to /g/, but not an online marketplace? You don't have to go to the dark web to sell ur RAM anon.

>>107544577
In my country marketplace is like wall street stock room. The people buying right now has to be speculators. Which means a few people will have a lot of stock. Therefore I certainly would not be holding a lot of RAM towards the end of the RAMpocalypse, as suddenly people will figure out that they need to be selling. Also a lot of people are probably dusting off old RAM to sell right now.

I'm aiming for the start-mid game to sell mine. It's all driven by official vendors though, so you just watch that. Also any kind of disturbance by MOBO manufacturers.

Most stuff is going up in price though because DRAM is fairly universal, so best deals are probably had to other items.
>>
>>107545316
>not an online marketplace?
too annoying, i'd prefere a physical place i could just drop all the stuff at once without getting scammed.

Why would you want built in PEQ? It'll just be harder to use than existing solutions on a small screen with physical buttons.

I'm at the stage where I should compiled basic expression to bytecode. But the code generator needs to make decision based on types (need to insert zero-extending and sign-extending instructions for example) and I'm procrastinating on some aspects of the design of the type system.

Wether to have union types like in C if the sum types are going to allow you to choose the exact data represention.
Structs vs tuples, what syntax should they have. Wether (value, value) constructs a tuple or is a comma expression.
Wehter to have anonymous sum types like in Hare.
Should arrays, structs, union and/or sum types be copied when assigned to, or passed by values when making a function call by default? Knowing that you will have the possibility to take and pass references.

Don't buy anything OTHER THAN IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T, X, and W/P Series if you want the Real Business Experience™
>Other business laptops are welcome in /tpg/ (Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook)

Why ThinkPad?
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap
>Excellent keyboards, tactile feel and quiet + the TrackPoint
>Great durability: magnesium roll cage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop
>Easy to repair (most models), upgrade & maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model, spare parts easy & cheap to obtain
>Excellent Linux & *BSD support

what does Wayland have to do with this
>>
>>107543164
Been seeing a lot of T480 videos pop up on my recommendations these past few months and it makes sense. Plenty of ports, first generation that had quadcore CPUs vice dual core, DGPU option, socketed ram, 2.5k screen (touch capable too if one wanted) option, WWAN SSD support, and even dual batteries. Enthusiasts even figured out how to mod the 25th anniversary's 7-row keyboard onto it, since the T470 and T480 are physically near identical and even back in 2017 some people were bitching that the 25 was stuck on T470/Kaby Lake hardware. Basically the ideal secondhand Thinkpad.
>>
>>107544637
>ideal
Except for the shitty build. I'm still perplexed at how the brittle front clips made it into the final product.
>>
>>107544712
Holdover from the previous generations since they only overhaul the chasis every few years compared to refreshing hardware every year. But I agree, clips on laptops are an abomination even though engineers seem to love them. Shit just breaks, are annoying to disassemble, and they never feel right putting them back on.

Which elitebooks are worth buying for around $100-250 used? My 2021 acer aspire screen is separating from one hinge and i can't believe it since i bought it new, never dropped it and always opened the lid slowly from the middle. Meanwhile my "old junk" hp probook 455 from 2016 that i bought second-hand has no issues

Other than requiring a government-issue ID, is there a socio-technical way to ensure the content is posted by a human?
I want to create my own forum, with blackjack and hookers, with zero bots. But even if I personally invite known humans to it, as long as the users also can invite others it is possible that they'll "invite" bots. Is there a way to prevent that?

I find 4chan XT insanely useful, I couldn't imagine browsing this place without it. Are there any other extensions/userscripts that implement broad site improvements like that? Enhancer for YouTube comes to mind. Yes, there are others for YouTube, but I haven't tried them. And I guess there are some R*ddit enhancement suites, but I rarely use that site.

For some reason 4chanX image filter stopped working correctly for me about a year ago, it still filters images I don't want, but it also filters a lot of images I never added to the filter. In a full image thread there will be at least 1-3 false positives.

Let me answer with a question:
Is it a fox or a red panda? Because a firefox is a red panda, but the Firefox logo is clearly a fox. Does that make any sense? Is that what we deserve after phoenix and firebird? Do you really want to use a browser that lies to you?

Why'd you post that ugly old logo? The faux depth and poor application of color theory screams millennial design obsessed with gloss and gradients. Because cringelennial manbabies REALLY wanted everything to look like glossy gummy candies.
Pic related is the actual FF logo. Notice how it doesn't look like shit. Delete that faggot shit off your android and don't post it again.

Low light performance is generally better on the main camera, mainly from the bigger sensor and an actual night mode. Ultra HDR support is nice though the telephoto still shits the bed in low light and isn't too impressive in good lighting either. UW sensor is huge and is as good as the main camera

Advise is seriously train your own model now... We're so fucked with the internet censorship right now

Not my first rodeo, I'll have to see if my shitty defective AMD GPU can train a SDXL LoRA. Seems you can just use a ComfyUI node for training, and I found another one that just let's you download Gelbooru images which is what I was pretty much doing but manually that'll be fun to get a workflow working
>>
>>107545232
What GPU?
>>
>>107545232
Yeah I mean I thought it's obvious that training on your own gpu is the best choice, but if you can't afford it then renting cloud gpu is a solid choice for now. It's much more obscure compared to services like civitai.
