I get where you are coming from: You just want to make money. You don't care. And if you are able to handle that for 30 to 40 years - good for you.

Chances are that if you are able to sustain such a dumb behaviour for that long, that you are pretty dumb yourself. You have no reason to learn, you have no reason to grow as a person, to become better at what you are doing. You have complete lack of curiosity. And that's fine for the low intellect person that you are.

Good luck with your life.

Not any more. Arch was my first distro 15 years ago and I remember updates breaking Xorg a couple of times. I distro-hopped back to it in 2022 and I've had no problems since then.

In current year you don't even have xorg.conf since everything works by default. But if by some reason you need some static Xorg configuration you do it in xorg.conf.d which is not managed by pacman

the cmf buds 2 have some annoying quirks:
- the eartips are not round but sorta elliptical. you can't really use aftermarket ones since they don't fit the "stem" well. you can force them on but then the buds don't fit in the charging case...
- the controls are garbage if your hand is wet/sweaty. they rarely register commands and you end up just switching the anc mode on/off. makes it almost useless for working out which is a big minus for me
- speaking of controls: they way you customize them is incredibly stupidly designed. for example, volume control can ONLY be assigned to tap+hold. you can't bind it to double tap or anything else. either tap+hold or disabled completely. and most of the functions are like that. and while i understand why there is no single tap control at all, i still would like to have the option.
- there is an option to make the buds pause playback when you take one bud out of your ear. and while you can disable that function you can NOT disable the beep that the bud makes when you trigger it, so it still does beep every time you take it out your ear. very annoying
- on a positive note - the buds have different sound alerts for triggering different functions so you can always tell if something got turned on by mistake
- you don't get a charging cable in the box. thankfully the charging port is usb-c

>ts compiler is just over a GB when compiled from source, unlike C# that takes a lot of disk space
dotnet sdk is ~400MB...
>>
>>106450932
I see.
how large will the directory be when you build .net runtime, including the all the third party dependencies along with workloads, all from source in that directory?
Turns out, all that for Odin is less than 550 MB. A little over 1 GB on my disk space was due to .git metadata I failed to ignore.
The actual source code of the language itself is less than 35 MB. Rest is LLVM and vendor packages. And if the vendor packages that are unrelated to the development of language are ignored, it comes close to 350MB(on linux).
This size of 550 MB is inclusive of the source code, all the dependencies and several third libraries and the final build files.

you typically have a per instance struct, and you upload an array of such struct into buffer every frame. that's just easier. there is no reason to pute every attribute into separate buffer.

just proves that you don't know what you're talking about. wireguard literally does nothing on the user's behalf. the only thing that wireguard is responsible for is establishing a secure link. everything else, like routing, is handled by your operating system and the service manager.
>>
>>106451604
Not only it's more complex it's also inefficient compared to wireguard since wireguard works in kernel space.

A bunch of tards donated for its development and kept spamming Phoronix forums when shit was about to hit the fan, hundreds of posts per day on an otherwise slow forum.
Kent is a sperg and pissed off everyone, so now Linus doesn't want to deal with anything associated with bcachefs. Which is a shame, because it isn't a bad filesystem.

https://thenewstack.io/unix-co-creator-brian-kernighan-on-rust-distros-and-nixos/

The Creator of UNIX has spoken. Rust is shit.
> he said. “And I found it a — pain… I just couldn’t grok the mechanisms that were required to do memory safety, in a program where memory wasn’t even an issue!”
>Speaking of Rust, Kernighan said “The support mechanism that went with it — this notion of crates and barrels and things like that — was just incomprehensibly big and slow.”
>“And the compiler was slow, the code that came out was slow…”
>All in all, Kernighan had had a bad experience. “When I tried to figure out what was going on, the language had changed since the last time somebody had posted a description! And so it took days to write a program which in other languages would take maybe five minutes…”
>“But I’m — I don’t think it’s gonna replace C right away, anyway.”
He couldn't even manage to make a simple program due to how complex and slow the language is.

I don't know why anyone would listen to these old retarded boomers. Every program these guys have ever written has had thousands of CVEs. Early UNIX and C code was an absolute clusterfuck of retarded cowboy coding. This guys version of cat had to be patched hundreds of times and had remote exploits in it.
