There is no such thing as a native UI on Linux, and """native""" on Windows means of one 8 different UI technologies. Not having a WebUI is not the death of ladybird but it would be nice to have as an option, in my opinion.

thats all well and good and they look great but I don't want to spend $300+ on a case with features I consider basic. my old fractal define 4 had a 5 inch bay and a whole internal rack of 3.5" bays, PLUS space for two front 120mm fans.
wtf happened to cases like that?
also, most of the silverstone cases go further than that and add locks, indicator lights and shit.
anyway so now I'm looking at cheap chinese cases on alibaba because they're probably pretty good.

Shitposting aside, just use one of the "mainstream" distributions such as Arch, Debian, Mint, etc. Choose whatever you want, nowadays most of them have a pretty straighforward installation process and are easy to use already. Unless you have a really specific usecase, a regular Linux distribution is more than enough for your average Joe. Never fall for these "super ez to use!!" type of distros.

>Our North Star is ‘1 engineer, 1 month, 1 million lines of code.’ To accomplish this previously unimaginable task, we’ve built a powerful code processing infrastructure. Our algorithmic infrastructure creates a scalable graph over source code at scale. Our AI processing infrastructure then enables us to apply AI agents, guided by algorithms, to make code modifications at scale. The core of this infrastructure is already operating at scale on problems such as code understanding.”

They effectively do the same thing. Check for something and abort current operation if a condition is not met. Whenever that is done via aborting the process, killing thread, unwinding stack or whatever else is configurable doesn't really change the point of that function.

Why are ""people"" (gamers) still so anti-VA? Modern VA panels have absurdly fast response times on par with IPS (faster actually except for black to black). On the plus side you get the blackest blacks, whitest whites and no backglow messing up everything.

I understand OLED is superior to both and TN is the competitive choice but it's weird seeing how many people still tell each other to steer clear of VA when your average $200 VA panel is almost certainly better than a $200 IPS one.

Some of the more recent IPS displays I've gotten have somehow made the glow much less noticeable. It's still there, but not as obvious as the distractingly uneven glow I got on a display from around 2015.
>>
>>107656028
Love OLED, but if your usecase is mostly reading/writing, IPS is probs still the best choice.
>>
>>107657577

no, OP
any /etc/thing.d/* are just being concatenated into one /etc/thing by the program that reads those config files
it's just a way to split /etc/thing into multiple files for modularity purpose
writing your config into /etc/thing.d/* is no different than writing into /etc/thing
