I've been working on a simple OCR-Programm to make an easy use for Kraken OCR which is specialized in cursiv/fraktur/kurrent/sütterlin writing and handwriting

but it was a bitch to get it to run properly...kraken surely doesn't natively want to be run in a programm...
>>
The moment you realise you need an intervention is when you install 3 separate containers on your server to OCR a single page of a webcomic, then uninstall all 3 afterwards because while 90% of what you did was successful, you forgot to check and see if the data you got out was going to be easy to export.
In a years time, I will no doubt configure them again, installing another 4 containers on top, just to automate the export process.

Nginx supports CGI scripts too although CGI is kinda shitty. I prefer to just write PHP scripts if I need anything like that. I do use CGI scripts for one use case though, writing webhooks where I want to automate some task by sending some POST data to it (useful for things like archive scripts as you say)

If that "old laptop" is 64bit then it isn't as old as my 32bit laptop. You said it could run those games, so it's somewhat powerful and not that old.

Have each torrent at a share ratio of at least 15.01 (addition to what I said in >>107617863). Otherwise run whatever services/stuff you want and learn about. Could probably run low-level AI like you were saying. I wonder if I could locally run AI in my "ancient" 32bit computer running Slax Linux. Kinda curious but not really... If it did run then it would be very dumb.

There is nothing wrong with 3d party. I have 8bitdo and Gamesir(lol) and I use both more than my 2 xbox elite controllers. It make sense to buy something decent for $30 and then too see what will Valve make. I remind you about this abomination I couldn't use even though I tried.

>Being concerned that TSMC’s expansion into the United States could dilute Taiwan’s semiconductor leadership, Taiwanese authorities are mulling setting a new export rule that would only let the world’s number-one foundry export technologies that are two generations behind its leading-edge production node

kinda funny, not gonna lie. apparently the taiwanese think america is somehow obliged to protect them from the mainlaind. just because, apparently.

European workers lack the intelligence, the skills, the mindset, the work ethic for this. Some very few yes, but by far not enough as needed for those fabs. In the US it's only even worse. Everybody is demanding better "work-life balance" and the ideology of DEI is preventing any competitive efficiency in the first place.
>>
>>107614774
No surprise there, the Silicon Shield has been part of Taiwan's defense strategy for decades.
>>
>>107615332
arent all the fabs rigged to explode if the commies get too close anyway
>>
>>107616130
Well preventing China from getting the fabs would avert the worst case scenario I guess, but with the entirety of the burger economy huffing AI cock at the moment I'm sure they want to get the very best chips that can possibly be made in general, not to just to better than the mainland chinks.
>>
>>107616295
chinese chip production is like 2-3 nodes behind taiwan, they can only make older chips because its basically just stolen tech.

theres a reason why they have to import all the latest GPUs to china.

china cant into chip fab

What's the point of brave browser if on android (and everything else really) all your keystrokes are tracked and all your metadata is tracked because of how the OS and hardware is bult regardless of what you uninstall or disable. The most disgusting, the most disturbing, the most incriminating things that you have searched up, downloaded or typed out even if you didn't send has been tracked by google or by some other corporation or agency, it's recorded on some server. Now imagine everyone you ever knew or saw read and saw those things those things.

I like him a lot except for his love for LEDs and EVs. LEDs being used for anything other than indicators in machines has been an absolute curse. Even then, neon lamps are fucking kino and i try to use them in projects when i can.
Never got the feeling that he would troon out though. You can usually sniff that a mile away and growing long hair isnt really a good indicator in and of itself. Just more faggots creating mountains out of molehils and turning what could be good threads into dumpsterfires.
