BTDigg is the first Mainline DHT search engine. It participates in the BitTorrent DHT network, supporting the network and making correspondence between magnet links and a few torrent attributes, The site is completely useless now when I try to search for something it gives me the message "Error establishing a database connection" thus you unable to find anything due to the search engine being broken. It's been that way for several days now. I am starting to have doubts the ower will fix this issue.

Let's say I have pirated pdf files from around 7 years ago. If one of these pdfs were to contain malware and I opened it, would the malware still work? If the malware is old, wouldn't Windows be updated to combat the virus thus making it obsolete?

Yeah. Tried it in a VM with BIOS (no UEFI). It's pretty ridiculous, you select during the setup which edition you want. With regular enterprise it just shows an error, if you select the iot enterprise it installs with no issues

I use Linux since forever (started with Slackware) but I'm really starting to miss Windows software support (CAD programs and Excel mainly) and since with WSL you basically have all Linux programs (Docker, Python, Emacs, etc.) , it's very difficult to justify the amount of tinkering you have to do in order to use it.

hey /csg/, first time buying electronics from ali and want to get your advice on some stuff.

brief context, fag stole my old eizo displays and i can't go back to low-res square monitors, and 16:9 and 16:10 are satanic, so when i found that eizo made 1920x1920 displays i was over the moon. unfortunately, they're a bitch to find on the aftermarket, so in my desperation i've turned to aliexpress.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010478717233.html

these seem to use a similar or identical panel to eizo's 1:1 displays and while the seller isn't *super* reputable, it doesn't seem like most stores outside of official brand outlets are on ali. plus, there's the dispute period, so i figure if i get fucked i can get a chargeback worked out.

all that said - have any of you ever bought monitors from ali? what's the consensus? are they dodgy, get-what-you-pay-for, decent, or something else?

>"Vivaldi says their roadmap to 2026 it is not AI"
What is the deal with the Anti-AI derangement syndrome? I don't like to judge people, but the anti-AI seem to include an evenly distribution of furries, twitter "artists", people with funny hair color, and a poor understanding of economy.

Maybe it hasn't produced anything of value for you. My life is easily 20% easier because of proper use of these tools.

>muh coal

It's resource intensive right now because companies are dumping money trying to get first mover advantage. Give it five years of compounding growth and you'll not need near the resources because most people's need for AI will be able to be satisfied with a quarter or less of the current resource use.
>>
>>107626186
>yet to produce anything of real world value
Don't know about other industries, but at work we've been using """AI""" for all sort of traffic related stuff since 2021: optical text recognition for license plate reading, face recognition for driver identification, vehicle brand recognition, no-seatbelt-violation recognition, texting-while-driving-violation recognition.
I also had to translate quite a lot of documents ranging from technical specifications for the equipment to legal agreements and contracts between 3 different languages. DeepL and chatgpt (for double checking after DeepL) have been a great asset in making the task of translating 300 page documents take less than an hour.
>In the end it will chose to kill us all, and they're probably already planning it out at this very moment.
Oh, you're a retard. Why was I even trying to explain myself before reading the post until the end. My point of "no smart people in anti-AI camp" still stands
>>
>>107616119
If you don't get why people dislike Ai then you're either out of touch or a complete moron.

I love AI, but most of it's use now days falls into one of three catagories for the average person.
1. Gooning material
2. An excuse to replace someone at work
3. Useless tool shoved in your face
The problem is a marketing one, and because investors only ever invest in the AI projects that aren't profitable lol.
>>
>>107626809
But I think the underlying issue is how the elite in the tech space. The little nepo baby devs. They LOVE the shit because they don't understand potential consequences like people who had to ever face reality do. So to them it's magic, and they can't fathom how someone wouldn't see it that way.
>>
