Yes this a browser performance problem not an ad-blocking problem since adnausaeam is just a ublock fork covoluting the process of processing ads somewhat it's very effective in confusing ads I found

>This site is just low IQ manchildren talking about stuff they don't understand.
You posted this to describe yourself I guess? Unless you got a PC from 2005 everything that you and Gorhill wrote is just wrong.
Filters literally cannot overlap themselves, uBO just stops using duplicates, looks like you nor the addon's creator know how it works lmao
>>
>>107672090
From the way i understand it, having more filters makes you easier to fingerprint. But that's the only REAL concern. The other "Hecking more performance and bandwidth" are secondary concerns.

i have been programming in visual studio 2010 for 3 years and it only supports c89 and I never wished for more. Explain what newer C versions actually bring to the table.
>muh variables declared in the middle of blocks
I don't even like doing that. It feels messy. When I code C# I put all the variables strictly at the top of a block.
>>
>>107672053
>Explain what newer C versions actually bring to the table.
auto
>>
>>107672062
I don't like auto or "var" either. One of the benfits of using C and C# instead of just coding everything in Javascript or Python is that you have a decent type system that lets you explicitly specify what kind of data is held in a variable.
The fact is, I'm perfectly happy with C89, and even if you give me a C11 compiler I'll end up writing C89 code anyway.
The only C99 feature I actually use is the // comments, which luckily VS2010 supports as an extension to C89.
>>
>>107672053
It filters K&R trannies and that alone is the best feature ever.

I find people who are triggered by AI to be hilarious I don't see the point in getting so worked up about it, if your artwork was actually superior that fact would be self evident and you wouldn't feel threatened by AI. Just sit back and watch the bubble inevitably collapse in a few years, free image generation isn't free it will inevitably be pushed into a paid service tier eventually. xAI is just desperately trying to monetize something that was never meant to be monetized.

No. Data center GPU dies are too valuable to waste wafers on gaming GPUs.

The data centres also poison the surrounding air, and locals are getting sick.

i watched about a minute of this and turned it off
burgers don't have enough power generation to run all the gpus
but this isn't actually a real problem
burgers actually pump a tonne of natural gas (they're actually much better supplied in this regard than china, who has power infra ready to go)
and you don't need to spin up a power plant to use this gas
you just buy a shit tonne of disgusting gas turbines and put them next to the data center
elon's already done this
oracle is doing this
you aren't getting cheap anything
none of this stops any time soon

This person wants every state to draft its own AI legislation instead of there just being one set of rules at the federal level.
This will build a moat for incumbents, making it it impossible for startups to afford the compliance cost, thereby pricing out everyone but the top players.

I just use RCS. It just works. I think it's only end-to-end encrypted if you're messaging between Android and Android, but I'm messaging from my Android phone to a bunch of iPhones (most people I know have iPhones), and I don't think it's encrypted in that situation.

Who cares though. My texts aren't very interesting. If someone can read them then I'm not too bothered.

afaiu It's a little of both in a way. First, a shadow map is made for each shadow casting light. That involves doing a depth-only render of a portion of the world for each of those lights. Which is the sort-of world space part. Then in the main render the fragment shader takes those shadow maps, and the parameters for the lights, and tests each fragment for occlusion. That's the screen space part. There are techniques though that are more or less explicitly world-space, and a case can be made that the bulk of the calculations for lighting acceleration is made in worldspace using quadtrees, etc
