No. Being a cringe pajeet namefagging just to be a complete moron all the time gives everyone the right to shit up the thread.
>>

I really wanted to die but the last thing I want is the guy who called me "obnoxious stinky street shitting retard" pin everything he could on me. I know you are the samefag, no wonder the pattern was very similar.
>who recommends API validation layers as profilers
yes, as explained in >>106498745
>validation layer with custom logger callback is the simplest way to profile vulkan code.
if you don't agree, you should have said so, but no, you motive is clearly something else.
>who calls over people noobs over my own incompetency
I've only called one person a noob and it was the guy who claimed "Nobody is implementing novel shit though they're all making my first renderer" and also said "im probably the only person here who has actually made an engine instead of giving up after implementing half a renderer". He was so haughty that he deserved to be called as such and I did.
Yeah, we can say that's due to my incompetence, if it makes calms down your rage.
>who can only spam links to the first thing I find on google
I got the trip but you got anything to back your claim other than "trust me bro!"
>who thinks you have to rewrite your game engine 4 times over because 'PBR'" edition
no, I don't. I never said everyone has to rewrite their game engine several times.
The only time I said anything close to that was when I was being sarcastic to an anon who was acting very haughty and said they always write perfect code right from the start and everyone should do the same or else they aren't gonna make it. You can check, its like only a couple threads old.

now that gamedev is dead, why do we keep doing it again?
>>
>>106499819
the use case for a game engine dev extend beyond just game dev so it makes not pointless.
UE5 was used for mandalorian for doing real time vfx without using a green screen.
Apart form the vfx industry, scientific simulation, automobiles and robotics can make heavy use of game engines in their workflow.

nftables is better, but I already know the syntax of iptables.

nftables is not unix tho.

I'm tired of tool replacement that forces a high learning curve, just because devs are "opinionated".

So here is a list I created of basic digital privacy tools to consider using in the current landscape.

Web Browsers:
Brave: A privacy-first browser that blocks ads and trackers by default.
LibreWolf: A privacy-focused, Mozilla-based browser with enhanced security features.

Private Search Engines:
MyAllSearch: A UK-based search engine offering privacy with no cookies or tracking.
DuckDuckGo: A widely-used, US-based search engine that prioritizes anonymity.
SwissCows: A privacy-driven search engine leveraging secure Swiss infrastructure.
Qwant: A French-based metasearch engine with a focus on privacy and safe browsing.
MetaGer: A German-based, open-source metasearch engine offering privacy and a variety of helpful tools.

Password Managers:
Bitwarden: An open-source, secure password manager with both free and premium options.

Firefox planning to drop 32-bit support. This is huge, considering that Firefox supported non SSE3 systems for a very long time and that many cheap netbooks from around 2008-2012 were 32-bit only. Compare this with the fact that Mozilla recently extended Windows 7 to 2026, and we find that Mozilla finds it difficult to actually drop support due to the "long tail" effect of many legacy users. It still has a minority of Firefox 78 users on old macs for example.

https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2025/09/05/firefox-32-bit-linux-support-to-end-in-2026/

It looks like 32-bit computers may be locked out of much of the internet by late 2026, as outdated browsers usually fail captchas.

Immutable distros, Wayland, Flatpak, btrfs by default - all these features provide modern Linux experience that is easy to manage and hard to break. There is a reason why Valve copied this approach for SteamOS. Arch tinkertroons and Debianfags with outdated kernels will seethe and cope but that's the reality.

It's now it's supposed to be. The software is built to have a purpose, I don't waste my time and effort in meaningless things like graphical appeal. If I want to write a graphical application, I will do so, but wont write it in electron or other web crap, because it's just a waste of CPU cycles and bonus, GTK3 will always compile just fine, or SDL for that matter. Electron works today, tomorrow it fails to initialize if I swap the optimus mode on my GPU/ iGPU. Just sad..

A shame, really. Their emulator was really good before the "BlueStacks X" bullshit happened (if you have to use it, you'll have to scout for the last version before the company rebranding and all these bloat being introduced)

At this point you might consider using an Android-x86-based distro and one of those ARM-to-x86 native bridges like libhoudini for non-x86 APKs

is the "approved" way of doing it with inbox tools.
If you're smart enough to set up a VHD native boot,
wbadmin start backup -include:C: -systemState
will do it the job.
If you're not smart (or simply want a GUI), go third-party with Macrium Reflect.

I remember hearing of another emulator called Nox which is fairly easy to defang apparently. Turning on root mode and removing a bunch of things using .apk installed launchers and file explorers that aren't bloaty spyware, then putting a bunch of the telemetry addresses in hosts.txt to block them.

The Triton MP controllers that are used in WD and SanDisk SSDs are just licensed and slightly modified Phison controllers, and have the same flaws as the originals.
Indeed, the flaws in Phison controllers that 24H2 exposed were first detected on the WD Blue SN* series.
