They also updated Gimp and now if I merge down to one layer and copy all it gives me this shit rather than the properly cropped version (where it increases image size to fit all layers perfectly and adds padding to do so). Cropping doesn't do shit unless you export the file.
Why the fuck would you do this?

>Salix
>Linux for the lazy Slacker
>Salix is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Slackware that is simple, fast and easy to use, with stability being a primary goal. Salix is also fully backwards compatible with Slackware, so Slackware users can benefit from Salix repositories, which they can use as an "extra" quality source of software for their favorite distribution. Like a bonsai, Salix is small, light & the product of infinite care.
Sounds pretty good, actually. Maybe I'll give it a try.

I'm tech illiterate

If I keep win 10, should I dl an antivirus? Will it make a difference? If so, what is the least shit and bloated one out there?
Hell, id probably revert back to win xp and win 7 if most of my apps worked on there and if I knew what I was doing
Pirated shit for many years with just using basic windows defender, never had any problems

Should I just go to linux? I don't want it, but I don't want win 11 even more

So If I just want to start hiding my torrent habits, my best option is Proton VPN?
Or does Mullavd works fine?

it says they removed port forwarding back in 2023, dunnno if that just means private trackers
Proton Free worked fine for a while, but yeah it seems that it does deactivate now, even if I lower the speed, I only download animu and some games here and there, but I want to basically replace an entire 2tb HDD with better encodes for archival in case things get bad enough

Im also looking into I2P, but I do have a question for that, do I need to completely dedicate a browser for that?
I have both Firefox and Brave, I use firefox for pretty much the whatever stuff like youtube and my mail and once in a blue moon open facebook or X, while brave Is my general use browser (and to not keep deleting 4chan cookies)
Sorry for the possible retarded questions and esl
>>
how do I disable ipv6 and make Ubuntu 25.10 only send data through to proton VPN? The old ufw commands and method to disable ipv6 I used on 22.04 don't work anymore
>>
Oh and I'm connecting to the VPN with openvpn. Whenever I test wireguard it's extremely leaky and I don't trust it whatsoever. And the proton app VPN is also extremely leaky. When you change servers it leaks everything through your normal IP for about 4-9 seconds
>>
>>106981586

>>
>>106981628
>>106981628
yeah you can't trust the programs. Mullvad leaked on me in the past on windows and Linux. and Debian/Ubuntu change shit often so make sure you test your firewall thoroughly before torrenting

>/g/ and countless tech blogs, podcasts, youtube channels shill dozens of Linux distros all the time to replace Windows
>yet most people end up using Linux Mint for replacing Windows on an old PC
Why?

It works and the UI is not designed for use on a touchscreen.
>>
>>106981619
Name another distro normies who barely understood Windows would enjoy using that also has large compatibility with shit teir laptops AND doesn't look like windows 98
>>
It's just reasonably close to windows UI wise and it's reasonably polished. Personally I'd recommend Xubuntu but either is fine. Kubuntu as well maybe.
>>
It comes with a desktop environment that looks familiar to windows right out the box to ease people in
>>
>>106981619

Because it has "Linux" in the name instead of UMBANGO or FAYDORA or GANTOO or CACHEEOS

What makes ASML an alien tech company?

And that only happened because the SVG flopped even if that group was receiving assistance and IP by the goverment for a decade. The existence of a EUV consortium was meant to exclude Japan (Nikon) from advanced lithography, the US attempted to do the same with DUV-i but Japan had enough patents to force a cross licensing.
ASML-Zeiss-BGG achieved something the US couldn't, of course, the light source source relies on laser research of the 1970-1990s.

It goes against everything 4chan stands for, for better or worse :

How are you supposed to advertise a product on /g/ if every other user can accurately point toward the fact you are a known paid shill?
How are you suppose to spread hate and propaganda on /pol/ if your hate speech can actually be traced to you; And could therefore lead to you being prosecuted.
That shit would turn 4chan into a cesspool of constructive debat and wholesome discussion.

Also, it would make the captcha and cooldowns useless and obsolete. What would be the insentive to buy the 4chan pass, then?
This website revenue would tank.

It's unacceptable. Those tech proposal threaten the very fabric of Israel and Chinese societies.

>>
>>106981369
And they shouldn't have been made hungry, that's the whole point. No one should be at the mercy of medical tyranny, which most importantly, was enabled by unquestioning compliance. it's the same thing with Digital ID now, they tried to push the vaxpasses a few years ago, now they're trying a different approach but it's for the same thing, never before seen insane control. And it's all based on bullshit. Convenience, stopping illegal immigration, whatever they say it's a lie, no one needs this, no one asked for it. It's a "solution" to a problem that doesn't exist.
